This hotel is alright for a one night stay. Close enough to walk to the city and has parking included. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was well maintained and comfortable. Choice of TV channels was poor. Bathroom had brackets for toilet roll holder and soap dish but items were missing. Breakfast was included but it didn't start until 8am and we were told nothing would be available until about 815am. We had to leave at 8am so had to miss breakfast as there is no early provision. For one night it served its purpose.

Clean and functional room with nice decor and very modern feel. The room had all I needed, was well situated close to Exeter City Centre and the breakfast provided was also good.

It was convenient overnight stay and the staff and breakfast were very pleasant. The premises are well appointed. If there were shortcomings it's that the car park is very tight when it's busy, but at least there is free parking which is rare around here. The other is the bedroom dividing walls are tissue paper thin with no sound dampening so you can clearly hear every word of your neighbour's conversation and vice-versa (thankfully it just conversation!). But the poor chap rather did suffer from catarrh in the night, and because he suffered we all did! So in that respect... might as well have been in a dorm room not a £100 ensuite!

Hotel had some strange rules like the lounge closing at 22:30 and limited drinks menu. We had room 15 which has dormer window and a very low ceiling. The place was just a little tired but the breakfast was spot on and the beds were OK.

Very nice hotel would appear to have been refurbished recently as high standard of finish and fixtures. Very welcoming receptionist and night porter very diligent. Single room occupation was more than adequate for my stay with ensuite shower toiletries provided. Fan supplied for warm roof level room. Not many tv channels but adequate. WIFI Good. Breakfast excellently presented and cooked with fast service. Parking a little tight when all guests were in. good price Well done and thank you

Nicely located to walk to Exeter old quay and cathederal. Also within minutes of route into devon and cornwal an ideal stop over with a nice breakfast, to get you ready for the day. Would definitely use again was clean and tidy and comfortable, all the staff were friendly and helpful

Although Exeter was not a place we had wanted to visit, we did venture to the downtown core which was accessible by walking from the hotel.

Cleanliness was outstanding... BUT As a man approaching 75 , with a suitcase and rucksack, being placed on the second floor with no lift, or offer of assistance, was not good - this is not mentioned in the booking site publicity. Also, the electrician who modernised the room was obviously having a joke !! The ceiling light was not over the bed, nor was there a bedside light, reading impractical.... The small tv was positioned in a far corner, so you would need 20/20 vision to watch it ! The bathroom shaving unit was out of reach !

Room was very hot with only a fan to cool it down. The room was very clean but other areas of the hotel could be attended to a little better. The dining area was really nice and the breakfast was good for the money paid. Overall would recommend an overnight stay and would definitely use the hotel as a stop off point again.

Unfortunately our room was at the front of the hotel next to a busy road and so it wasn’t possible to have a window open. This meant that the room was very hot. Reasonable breakfast. Overall expensive (£177 for a double) given the location and facilities.

It was on a busy very loud street; no air conditioning meant opening the only window. Staff could not assist with taxis or suggest a laundry (which turned out to be within walking distance). It was a gritty neighborhood and I would not stay there again.

We loved this little hotel. Breakfast was great. The staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the location, although it’s not a quick walk to the main campus of the University of Exeter and the walk into the town center may be longer than some would want. There’s good access to public transport. And ample parking.

This B&B is close to the city centre, with free parking and a lovely well presented, substantial breakfast in a pretty breakfast room. The lady serving breakfast was friendly ahd welcoming. Our double room on the first floor was clean, if rather small and warm. Tiny but functional en suite. Overall a pleasant stay.

Lovely little hotel for a great price. Service excellent, all staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms good, a little tired in places but generally clean. Mira shower was excellent, so often showers in hotels are let downs, not this one!! Location great, easy walking distance to the Quay Side, and Cathedral. Town centre uphill but regular buses with bus stop outside the hotel. Ample free car parking an absolute bonus.

The hotel is on a busy road so traffic noise from early morning could disturb some. However, it's in a great location within easy walking distance of the Quays area for fine dining and it's an easy walk from there to the town centre and cathedral.

The receptionist was friendly. I was travelling alone and found the room comfortable - a couple would trip over each other. Also, the mattress lacked support at the side so practically fell out of bed twice. Tip: If you are using Google Maps and approaching from north of the river, tell it to navigate via Prince's Street East. It could save you twenty minutes of wrong turnings!

Reasonably close to the CBD of Exeter and the Quay area. Sufficient car parking on property. Very good choices for breakfast in light filled room. TV with normal range of BBC and commercial channels worked well. Being on the top floor made it difficult with our bags. Close to shopping including laundromat.

It's a good hotel and very quiet when I was there. Breakfast (waitress service) was excellent. My double room was a little small and the en suite very cramped but acceptable. Everywhere was well decorated and spotlessly clean.
