This apartment is absolutely stunning. The bedroom and bathroom tastefully decorated, immaculately clean, plenty of clothes storage and with every facility; tea/coffee making, Nespresso, biscuits, chocolate, toiletries. A table and easy chairs in the spacious reception hall overlooking the pretty terrace.
We received a very warm welcome on arrival by Angela, having a good chat over a glass of fizz in a beautiful lounge overlooking the cathedral and green. And the following afternoon we spent a great hour or so over a bottle with Angela and Edward before pottering off to the Thai restaurant.
Breakfast was provided at The Ivy, a few steps away from the apartment. Angela booked the table for us in advance, it was fabulous; the setting, the service, the food, all exceptional and a really lovely touch.
There are plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants around the corner and free parking at the Castle is perfect.
The apartment, and Exeter, is a perfect antidote to a busy life and we are hoping to visit again in the Spring/early summer.
Absolutely nothing to dislike. Unless you can count the British weather.

Location was great. Parking was a huge bonus. Immaculate, clean, plenty of storage, comfortable bed, large shower. Angela was very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had some lovely and interesting conversations with Angela and her husband Edward.

Good location by cathedral in central of town. Clean lady who owns it very helpful. Nice breakfast included at the Ivy next door.
Room smaller than expected. No view whatsoever. No opening window in the bedroom made it fairly claustrophobic and uncomfortable to sleep. For £270 I would rather expect the room to have a fridge rather than need to use the apartment owner’s fridge. She really needs to sort out directions, so guests can find the place to drop off bags - we couldn’t and had to traipse for 10 mins from the parking spot in the rain with lots of bags - which wasn’t a lot of fun.
