Apartment 1 24 Cathedral Yard Cathedral View

We had a fantastic stay at Apartment 1, 24 Cathedral Yard. The location is completely unbeatable—stepping out the front door right into the historic Cathedral Yard with stunning views of the Exeter Cathedral was incredible. A massive highlight of our stay was Angela, our host. She was incredibly engaging and welcoming from the moment we arrived, making us feel right at home and ensuring we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was immaculate, modern, and beautifully furnished. It felt like a true home away from home with a comfortable living space and great amenities. Another wonderful bonus was the delicious cooked breakfast provided by the host, which you enjoy just a couple of doors down at The Ivy. It was a brilliant, high-quality start to each morning. Despite being so central and close to great dining spots, the apartment was remarkably quiet and peaceful inside. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Exeter

Be prepared for a 10 minute walk through Exeter from the parking at the Castle to the Apartment

Perfect stay in the centre of town, couldn’t ask for a better position. So comfortable, our host was so friendly. Breakfast was one of the best we had on our travels through England.

Good location by cathedral in central of town. Clean lady who owns it very helpful. Nice breakfast included at the Ivy next door.

Room smaller than expected. No view whatsoever. No opening window in the bedroom made it fairly claustrophobic and uncomfortable to sleep. For £270 I would rather expect the room to have a fridge rather than need to use the apartment owner’s fridge. She really needs to sort out directions, so guests can find the place to drop off bags - we couldn’t and had to traipse for 10 mins from the parking spot in the rain with lots of bags - which wasn’t a lot of fun.
