Yoghurt. Fruit to put on yoghurt. Cereal to put on yoghurt. Coffee to have with yoghurt. Dinocon. The view.
Kinda small. Wish we had drinking glasses instead of two small mugs. Balcony inaccessible :(
Hot and couldn't open windows much to fix this.

Decent room and facilities. The price was excellent and the drink facilities was a bonus. The shower room worked well.
I did not matter but I think the number of floors needs to be emphasized. I did not see a lift but fortunately I had limited luggage. Again it was not an issue but information about where to park and a clear map showing the walk would be helpful.
You get what you pay for but the customer service at the check in was patronising, bordering on rude. The dining room stuff seemed happier and more helpful.

Room was clean and quiet
Parking was good on site
Slightly difficult to find initially.

some of the guests were very loud until 3-4am

The staff were really approachable and friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and quiet too as there were no students using the accommodation yet.
As there were building/ road works in the area, it made it harder to get to or get around. This also made it difficult to order food to the accommodation. I didnt realise there was bo where on campus to be able to get food or I would have taken food with me. This was o ly made difficult because of the time I arrived.

The two staff on reception were fantastic. They had not been told about a large number of bookings, they had to do a lot off additional admin, with a large queue of people but dealt with it very well.
The car parking is a long way from the hall so the venue is not really suitable for anyone with mobility concerns. Please remember that staying at a University Hall will be a different experience from a hotel or B&B. So don't expect a TV in the room or shower gel and shampoo, bring your own. This is not a criticism but just advance information.

Beautiful location surrounded by the countryside.
Room clean and nice and efficient staff.
Not the best quality breakfast but good enough.
Basic room, warm and no air conditioner. Windows could be opened but compromising my privacy.
Very basic towels and toiletries. Just a small bar of soap.

It was good for the money paid. The breakfast was better than a lot of 4* hotels
The bath was so tiny

Wonderful view!
Not a long walk to the city.
Includes a full breakfast as well as parking. Lifts to some of the blocks.
Some spectacular trees around the campus.
Some of the roads lack pavement for pedestrians at least in part.

Breakfast was excellent. Staff attitudes were top draw. Great location.
No toiletries, 1 piece of soap. Not great value for nearly ÂŁ200!

It was very clean
I booked this property for 2 adults and 2 teenagers and I have to say that beds were a small double and it was very difficult to sleep there, so I do not think 2 adults can fit on one bed. It really didn’t worth. Also they advertised a swimming pool which is 15 minutes walking distance. So it’s not really on the site. I was very disappointed about the place. Booking should not suggest that one room is enough for 2 people. Breakfast traditional english breakfast buffet otherwise not much choices.

It was near to where we wanted to be. Nice and pleasant staff lovely quiet surroundings .
The pool itself was a bit further away than expected.

Great self service breakfast
Great view from the restaurant and outdoor communal areas .
View from the room was not great .
Would have liked a television in the room .
Very steep hill if walking from the bus stop to the accomodation .

Rooms were a bit noisy but to be expected in a general dorm area . Shower was nice and hot and plenty of storage . Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and good coffee machine .
Bit of a walk and very hilly into town but didn't bother us as weather was okay . Also rooms a bit noisy .

Great place to stay. Views were fantastic, really nice breakfast.
Nothing all was good

The room was lovely. No tv but you cannot expect that as it is normally a student residence. The bed was comfy, room was clean and breakfast was exceptional!!! The location is good but it’s up a big hill - this is a small price to pay for a good view at the top. I like walking so not a problem for me. Very nice stay :)
I did not dislike anything.
6.0 / 10.0
The breakfast was great, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
The bathroom was very inconvenient — water from the shower ran directly onto the floor and toilet. After taking a shower, the floor was completely wet, making it impossible to use the toilet without cleaning up first. There were no toiletries provided in the room. It was also extremely hot, and since this is student accommodation, the windows couldn’t be opened for safety reasons.

Its on top of a hill and I was on foot. The building did not cope well in the very hot weather

Room was nice and bed comfortable. I liked having a kettle and mini fridge in there. Room was clean and there were biscuits too. There is a very steep climb from the entry to the campus to the room
Very noisy outside- staff were moving huge trollies at 7.15 that were banging loudly and woke me up.
8.0 / 10.0
Compact but ideal for a short stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Toilet seat very loose - rooms ought to be checked between guests first such minor faults. Shower was on the small side so shower curtain stuck to you when in use. Couldn’t adjust the shower temperature which was a little hot.

the facilities were very good, as a group of us could spend time together in the recreational areas. the breakfast was excellent. the setting was lovely with excellent views across the country side from the outside seating area and the campus had lovely grounds. The portering and catering staff were friendly and helpful.
the shower / bathroom floor could do with an antislip mat.

Located on campus and perfect to access all University spaces within minutes.
Some parts of the rooms do need renovation/fixing. But great stay overall.
9.0 / 10.0
Everything about the stay was great, comfortable bed, great breakfast, helpful staff, great view from the room etc. For people coming by car the location is great, however for people like us relying on public transport, be aware that there is an uphill walk even from the university bus stop to Holland Hall. The good thing was that buses were frequent!

Room as expected for a halls of residence. Comfortable, with great desk and bookshelf, nice wardrobe/cupboard. Good wifi. Small fridge a bonus. Was quiet. Exeter is a hilly campus, but this means the views from the terrace in front of the residence block is great, over the countryside. The breakfast is really good, with hot English breakfast, coffee, juice, fruit etc, and plenty of seating in the communal area. Great for attending a conference, or place to stay to get some work done away from home or the office. Car parking is available.
5.0 / 10.0
Breakfast is OK. The view from some of the rooms is good, but the view was disappointing on this stay.
Bathroom is small, shower space is very small, with no shower tray, so water covers the bathroom floor. No shampoo or shower gel. Usually quiet location, but on Saturday night, a group of loud people sat outside and were very noisy through to sunrise. No attempt by staff to quieten them. closing the windows of the room didn't help as they are not sound proofed. Also, there's no air conditioning so rooms get very stuffy in hot weather. Overpriced compared with alternatives.

the view was excellent but the French window was locked due to safety
The electric kettle was broken so i had to wait and pick up another one at the reception. No tea bags nor coffee sachets were then supplied (as promised in the description). No shampoo supplied either. the shower curtain was too short and it was very uncomfortable to take a shower as the curtain would cling to my body and the water splashed everywhere so one needs to clean after taking shower. The price was higher than expected for a non refundable booking. The room staff were very noisy in the hall all morning before i checked out and even entered my room 20 min prior to the check out time - 10 am, despite the "do not disturb" sign... obviously it made my packing hard and I was not happy.

Beautiful setting, nice staff, comfortable room
Toilet broken. The toilet seat was loose, it felt uneasy sitting down. The toilet lid was detached, propped up against the outside of the bathroom.

The location and view of the space was great. The breakfast was good (but the same for the few days I stayed there). The wifi was strong and reliable.
The bathroom shower was a bit small.
2.0 / 10.0
Free parking and wifi
Directions were awful, distance to town is more than 20mins, breakfast was mediocre and didn't start until 740am, no hairdryers (despite advertising they had them available). Overall just not worth the money they charge.
