University of Exeter - Holland Hall

The halls and the staff were fine.

What wasnt fine was the fact that the carparks were too far away. For anyome with anykind of disability its not recommended.

Perfect for an overnight stay for graduation week. We were able to park on campus near the Great Hall and it was an easy walk to town and restaurants. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but can be quite warm as the windows do not open much so bringing a fan is a good idea. The breakfast is free and there are a lot of options. It's not a five star hotel but for Exeter graduations it is a great option - convenient location, free breakfast and parking and reasonably priced. Plus the staff are very friendly and helpful.

It was warm in mid-July. A fan in the room as standard would have helped!

Space-wise, the room was a good size, liked the chair and table top, and because room was at back and there were trees for shade and only one window/door-the room was comfortable despite the heatwave. Breakfast area was pleasant-good range of produce especially liked muesli with yogurt and compote. Staff member on reception at arrival very helpful.

No view! (but as mentioned above -worked well in the heat. Needed lights on because little daylight, as one window backing onto trees. Breakfast- parts of the cooked breakfast was barely warm (I was down for breakfast about 8am). Before arrival more information on parking situation, i.e. made clear there was a drop off point and then park away from the site - not helped by lack of a clear sign that the building was Holland Hall.

The location was lovely and very convenient to get to my son’s graduation the following morning.

The room was absolutely boiling hot, completely unbearable when we first got into the room. The balcony doors do not open properly, so we were unable to get any air into the room. A fan was supplied when we asked for it, but it did absolutely nothing for the heat in the room. A very hot and uncomfortable night!
