A fantastic short stay at the Melbury Rooms and Studio in beautiful Oxford
The communication beforehand was excellent. Check in was carried out online before arrival so I was in my room very quickly upon arrival. The location of the property is excellent. Very close to town centre and also St James Football Ground. The property looked very well maintained and I loved the self catering kitchen and patio area. It meant I could make my own breakfasts and lunches with ease! The room was comfortable and the mattress was memory foam and so comfy. Very important for me to have a comfy bed! I loved the small patio garden and noticed the ceramic leopard hiding in the undergrowth on day 3!
The only drawback was having to carry my suitcae up the stairs, but I could have asked for help for this if I needed it. I was happy to carry my suitcases up the stairs myself, and for anyone with mobility issues in this regard, they only have to request help and I'm sure it would arrive.

Quality accommodation close to buses and shopping area
Good sized studio room with en suite and access to shared main kitchen area. Excellent communication making check in and out easy. Location Excellent just a short walk to bus station and shopping area. I liked the coded entry system. Would definitely recommend to others and would stay again for sure.
There was really very little negative things - only the desk chair was uncomfortable so had to use a cushion!

Great place but choose a back room
Lovely room with all you need within it. Also great facilities - shared kitchen and nice outdoor seating area. We could have stayed longer.
The bedroom was a ‘garden view’ room which we thought meant it would be at the back in a more quiet position. However it meant the big green at the front and the road, which meant it was noisy at night. I would recommend choosing a back room overlooking the courtyard instead. The location was very convenient but not the greatest area of town, but still OK except for the noise.

Perfect
Perfect place. Spotlessly clean. The staff are wonderful, very kind and helpful. The studio I stayed at for four nights was ideal for a solo traveller. Thank you ever so much!

Great spot to visit Exeter for the first time!
The location was ideal for the conference I had to attend, which was held at the University of Exeter. The accommodation is located near the center of Exeter. Despite its central location, the area is very quiet, making it easy to get a good rest.
I personally did not like the bed. However, this is just a personal opinion and may not apply to others.
