Great budget guesthouse within walking distance of the city centre. Friendly owners and the room was comfortable.
Nothing to dislike at this price point. The kettle had a lead which was a little short but I was able to move the table slightly to accommodate. Bathroom facilities are communal but as mentioned you can't argue with the price and location for a budget stop over in the city.

Nice little place, simple, clean and comfortable. Located ten minutes up the hill from Exeter St David's train station and a short walk into town. Hosts were friendly & helpful.
My room had a bit of traffic noise, not a problem for me but something to be aware of.

Location, cleanliness and comfort, friendliness of host. Good location for walking up to the university as well as the city or the St. David's train station (though we did not use). Very quiet even given it was right at a roundabout.
Only that the shower could be stronger but it was adequate.

what we had paid for. No major complaints
Just small things. Only hand soap in the shower. We needed clearer instructions to the car park, which is in quite a tricky place

Lorraine was very communicative and helpful. The room was simple and small but clean. The location is great-- easy to walk to the city center, the cathedral, the quay, etc.
My room got quite warm since it was on the top floor facing west, and it was a hot say. Lorraine asked her son to bring over a fan and that was a big help. The bed was too soft for my taste.

Good location, free parking and the room was clean. Staff were friendly.
There was no breakfast included but there didn't appear to be an option for any food there. The room was quite small for the price and the wash basin was outside the bathroom area and within the room itself. At least it was en-suite as it looked like some were not as there was a communal bathroom & shower area. The place was clean but a bit dated and tired in places. Bed was quite uncomfortable so didn't sleep well.

Lovely little hotel, owner was very friendly and very helpful. Close to university so excellent for graduation.
Room was on the small side, as was the ensuite but more than adequate.

Very friendly staff and stayed in a comfortable room for 3 people. Great location, within walking distance of the centre of Exeter and the university.

Bigger floor space than was expecting. I appreciated the thick curtains. It being only a 20 minute walk to the Northcott Theatre I was working at.
Unfortunately the road noise kept waking me up despite my earplugs. But I am a light sleeper. I didn’t always get my coffee sachets replenished. Guess I was on rations ha ha.

The hotel is very conveniently located on the junction of a moderately busy road in Exeter. Its easy to find. Car parking is located at the rear of the building in a private lane, so though traffic here is moderately quiet. The hotel as I found it was very clean and well presented, with toilet and showering facilities adjoining similarly very clean and similarly well presented. The host on this occasion was a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful. I would most certainly use this venue again if I needed a longer stay in Exeter. Overall good value for money.
I couldn't find anything particularly there that I didn't like.

Easy to find, up a steep hill, but not far from the St David’s train station.
Comfortable and clean bed and shared bathroom.
Welcoming staff to greet me.
The curtains in my room didn’t block out a street light so if I turned a certain way in the bed it hit my face. The hot water didn’t last very long. If there is a time limit, that’s ok, it would be good to advise guests.

Just what I needed and at a great price. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.
A small fridge in the bedroom would have been helpful especially when the weather is hot.

Friendly host, so welcoming. Great location and very clean and comfortable beds. Would easily stay again. And reasonably priced.
Check out is a little early. 11AM would be nicer than 10AM.

The staff were friendly and very helpfull. Checking in time was good - early, unlike most B&B's and this was very useful for me.
The room was clean, warm, and comfortable.
I was allowed to leave my bags there for a good while after check-out, which was also very helpful.
The shower. The water was tepid, not hot at all. This was very disappointing and is the reason for my low overall score, as EVERYTHING else was very good.

Ten minute walk to town was fine, parking was adequate and room was clean. Bed was soft which suited us after a long drive and the land lady was pleasant.
Lack of breakfast made £90 a little expensive for a basic en suite room but in this area its ok. Room security was an old fashioned key and could use updating but did the job.

Great location and very lovely staff. Clean and comfortable. Super close to Exeter St David's so very convenient. Very good price.
Shower could do with updating and the bedroom could do with some blackout curtains.
