disappointing although staff are doing their best
Sadly this hotel has gone down hill since I stayed in Sept and gave it a glowing review.
the breakfast is now heated up pre cooked food not individually cooked although they are still charging the same.

A lovely hotel, I couldn’t fault anything.
This is a beautiful hotel. Our suite was stunning, with a very comfortable bed and fantastic wet room. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here when we come to Exeter in the future.

Very comfortable bed
The breakfast was good and the location was within a 5-10 minutes walk to the town centre. Would definitely stay here again.
The bathroom skirting board could do with a lick of paint.

Location was superb. I was a quiet night. Free parking available. Staff were very helpful and friendly. comfortable bed and coffee and tea available with a kettle. toilet and bath were very good. lift available.
overall cleanliness was not great. The room was not cleaned after the previous stay. stay was only one night. not that much value for the money.

Comfortable room but with so much more potential.
Generally the room was ok but it could be so much better with a refresh and reduction in the number of pictures on the walls - at least 15 in my room - too much. Proximity to town centre was excellent. Good size bathroom and bed quite comfortable too.
Although the room and bathroom looked generally clean, due to the dark walls and carpet in the bedroom, it was very difficult to really check; normally I would but I was only in Exeter overnight and didn't want to waste time.
