What a cute, cozy, little room! Frankly, it's quite small (might be a little too small for some, but Townhouse Exeter has many other types of rooms available), but this was exactly what I was expecting - it provided everything I needed for a short stay. I loved the charm of the place, and the host is super friendly. I would definetly book it again.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay in room 8 (top floor) of Townhouse Exeter. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the hot water and water pressure were dependable. It was easy to walk to all the city sights as well as café and restaurant options yet it was quiet at night. Bonuses: Ken's warm welcome and recommendations, the room's artwork and the view of St. David's church from window.

Nicely decorated and presented, with character.
The heating wasn’t on so I used the oil radiator, which took up a lot of space in the room, and it was difficult to get the temperature right. There was mold stain on the wall. The bed was not comfortable for me. I wrote to the host about these issues, as they had staff covering for them whilst they were away. I received a long email back. I understand the host had to get cover whilst away and they did not feel that the staff had followed their usual routine and instructions. They politely suggested that I stay somewhere alternative in future. I don’t really want this published but feel I should give some kind of review.
