Very good accommodation, general hotel facilities and staff

Good size room and very comfortable public areas. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

We had a superior King Room which was very good. It could have been slightly better if it had two comfortable chairs rather than a stool and a chair. Also did not like the glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom.

Generally excellent and very convenient

Everything everywhere was spotless. It was all pretty new. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating allowing my wife to check out late as she was waiting for me to have minor surgery. The reception level bistro didn’t have a massive menu but suited us nicely. The food came quickly and was very good.

There were no bottles of drinking water in the room, though the tap water was ok. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no milk. The shower head didn’t fit well in the holder so it just hung down and couldn’t be directed.

Disappointed

Room was big. Bed was comfortable and shower great. Free parking at the hotel. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Bar fridge empty with not even a bottle of complimentary water. Cold tiles which was half the room size and either no underfloor heating or slippers offered. Not much space to hang towels and not a heated towel rail. At breakfast, food options were decent but many of the mugs either still had coffee rings or chipped. It was not up to the standard expected of a 4-star hotel.

The staff and hotel facilities were exceptional

It was an ideal location as we had arranged the stay to take in the rugby match on the same day

The only complaint was on arrival it was meant to be a surprise for my wife that we we’re actually staying the night , but driving past the rugby ground on way in got stopped and had to show proof of booking to a steward which spoilt the Surprise

Great place but bad location

The Hotel Lobby and staff and clean and modern surrounds with a good car park

I paid for the premium room but the bathroom was like a disabled one where all the water ran back to the toilet and sink...not a good design. I did not like that it was so far away from the City so spent too much money on taxis next time I would rather stay in the City so I can enjoy the night life

Felt like a mini break

The location was ideal as my husband was attending a rugby match & I was meeting a relative for a coffee. We were able to charge our electric car and be ready to attend a 90th birthday party the next day. The room was clean and nicely presented. We had a super meal in the restaurant & it felt like a mini break even if only one night

It might have been useful to have been made aware that each room has a master switch. If this is not switched on then none of the lights or plumbing work. I had to go back down to reception to find this out. Small but a niggly thing really would obviously know to check if we stay again.

A clean, stylish hotel offering a great breakfast and convenient parking.

I really enjoyed my recent stay. The breakfast selection was excellent, with plenty of choice to start the day. My room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The hotel itself is beautifully designed inside, and the overall atmosphere was lovely. Parking was also great and very convenient, which made the whole experience even better. Would happily stay again!

Staff are not profitional. The hotel has no room services Breakfast was very boor The hotel has no concerge services. Reception staff do not pick up the phone The parking barrier do not allow buses to enter and you have to wait sometimes 30 minues to enter the parking area.

A couple of minor suggestions. Please take as constructive as we loved our stay. Needed a mirror above the desk to style hair tec. Air Con was fine but ideally need an opening for fresh air at night. Slightly odd being able to see silhouette in the bath room when the light was on.

Lovely hotel for a short stay

A lovely spot, great rooms, very quiet and comfortable. Parking right outside the door and service is good. Gym on the ground floor is solid too and lots of machines and free weighs.

Service in bar and breakfast certainly could be better. Was left waiting over 30mins for a club sandwich. For breakfast, no major service or direction - my server was nice, but just let me at it. Weirdly, you have to walk behind what seems like a bar normally to get your hot food, not very clear. The food is good once you get it and views from the top floor are class.
