Mynydd Y Glyn Lodge, a detached lodge, comprises an open-plan living space with kitchen, utility, dining area and sitting area with electric fire. Appliances include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, an electric fire and a Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size (zip/link), and a king-size with en-suite shower room, along with an additional shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed decking with seating and wood-fired hot tub, along with off-road parking for six cars. Within 2.7 miles, you will find a shop and pub and please note, this property welcomes two well-behaved dogs, but is non-smoking. The Neighborhood:
This pleasant village lies in the beautiful Tanat Valley at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains, only 4 miles from one of the Seven Wonders of Wales - the magnificent Pistyll Rhaeadr (240 ft high waterfall). Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant was the location for the successful film, The Englishman Who Went Up A Hill But Came Down A Mountain, and more recently the film Nativity 2 starring David Tennant. The village boasts two general stores, a newsagent, a Post Office, a butchers, three pubs, a café, a fish and chip shop, and an Indian takeaway. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, providing walking trails for all abilities including the Berwyn Ridge Walk and a trail to the summit of the waterfall. Discover Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala, the National Trust Powis and Chirk Castles, medieval Shrewsbury and Chester and the wonderful Snowdonia National Park.
