The room and bathroom were clean , and the bed comfortable . However we would have preferred a bigger bed .The gentleman who greeted us was very kind and welcoming .No charge for our dog .

The location is quite remote and difficult to find along a single track road . Booking . Com should give correct information at time of booking , as we were also informed afterwards that the pub was closed every tuesday ,and because of the remote village no other alternatives for a nice cold beer on a very hot evening . The stairs were very steep up to the room , so could prove difficult for some . Because the property is so old the floors in the bedroom were very wonky which i found uncomfortable and a bit dizzy . One Electric socket was hanging from behind the bed . Althought there was a kettle and tea bags there was no milk . No mirror in the room which is very unusual . Dissapointing stay .
