Great winter break in an area with so much to do and see.
Spacious family rooms. Separate bedrooms & bathrooms for the kids, loads of space to spread out and a well stocked complimentary tea tray

Very friendly welcome and good service.
Very warm welcome on arrival. No fuss getting my room sorted. The room was warm and comfortable, it fulfilled all my needs. Very close to the restaurant and bar, also not very far from reception. Friendly staff in the bar and very accommodating. Breakfast was excellent , with plenty of choice. Looking forward to going back soon.

Beautifully peaceful with wonderful staff.
Lovely location, the lodge was very spacious and clean. The spa facilities were great. The breakfast was absolutely faultless. All staff were lovely, super friendly and attentive.
Wifi was a little poor in our lodge but we went to switch off, so was not a problem. Just may be an issue for future guests.

A Delight!
We stayed in a bedroom in the hotel. It was clean and very comfortably, if a little on the warm side but the windows opened fully so we had natural ventilation. The staff were all lovely and very approachable from check in to check out! Nothing was too much trouble. We have to give a special mention to Laura and Cerys, who served us on many an occasion and always with a smile. Thank you ladies! Breakfast was lovely and freshly cooked. We will be back. Thank you all.
The fish cakes! They were mainly potato! The other meals we had in Bar 1815 were excellent.

Wonderful 4 days away in beautiful settings.
The staff are very friendly and can’t help you enough. The food is beautiful and great value for money. We have stayed here many times and have always found it to be the same most enjoyable and comfortable. The property is extremely clean though out both hotel and our lodge was….Housekeeping is on hand everyday if you wish and very efficient.

Location, a short walk into the town, the room was clean and warm, access to the spa was a bonus. Breakfast was lovely and the staff in the dining room really friendly.
