The location was very convenient for exploring north Wales and the rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfasts were also good quality and just enough to set you up for the day. Above all, the staff were excellent. Martin, Pippa, and Marian were extremely welcoming and friendly, going so far as to offer free Welsh cakes for guests to take with them as they explore. It was a minor detail but it meant a surprising amount to us in our stay. Overall, we so enjoyed our stay we're considering another trip to see more of the area.
The internet speed was slow which meant it was difficult to stream shows in the evening when you're relaxing in the room. Although they do openly tell you this and you are in the middle of the Welsh mountains so it's to be expected. Also, Betws-y-coed has no real taxi coverage unless you want to go to Llanberis or Llandudno, so it is best navigated by car. Again, not a deal breaker but something for guests to consider.

We had such a lovely stay at Aberconwy House B&B. The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by stunning scenery and perfectly placed for exploring Betws-y-Coed, Snowdonia and the surrounding area.
Our room was very clean, cosy and comfortable, and we really enjoyed waking up to the beautiful views. Breakfast was delicious, with a great selection and everything we needed before heading out for the day. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
It was the perfect base for a very special weekend for us, including our hike up Snowdon. We also loved how easy it was to explore Betws-y-Coed and visit places such as Swallow Falls.
We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Aberconwy House to anyone visiting the area. We would happily stay again. Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

This is the best B&B I have been to, the food is amazing, they have everything you need, the room and bathroom is sparkly clean. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is travelling to north wales.
