Nice buzzy atmosphere. Friendly welcome and staff.. very good food for dinner. Good value and very tasty.
Room was s bit small (room 2,) and mattress was lumpy and in need of replacing.

I have stayed here, as a solo female traveller, 6 or 7 times before. No frills, well run, a unique place that is at the heart of the community and so welcoming. I am more than happy having a bar meal on my own, it’s lovely hearing the locals chatting away in Welsh. I don’t know what it is about the place, but I’m very at ease there, it’s a perfect stopping place for my short visits exploring hikes around the area.

I really love location of this hotel. Bed was comfortable.
On Sunday evening when I arrived there was almost no drinking water left in special jar. I had to left a message to top up drinking water please. Socket was far from the table, unfortunately I had to boil water on the floor next to the door! Lots of dust on lamp shade, which I cleaned!
