Lovely stay at isallt. Great hosts, our room was very spacious and light, nice comfy bedding and towels. Breakfast bags had everything we needed. The house had all the amenities we needed for a great stay, would definitely return.
The shower was really disappointing. It had barely any power, the shower head was really small and flimsy so barely any water came out. Would have really appreciated a nice hot relaxing shower after a long day of walking :(

The guesthouse is right by the train station and central to everything in Blaenau. It was comfortable and had good beds. The landlord carried my bag upstairs, and let us leave bags after we checked out.
The "breakfast" bag with a juice box and a banana and a prepackaged cake was a bit naff, but they did warn me in advance, and there was a cafe across the road where we could get a proper breakfast.

Host was very welcoming, room was clean, overall good value. Parking great, which can be a real nightmare in unfamiliar places.
Breakfast consisting of a small yoghurt, nutty bars and fruit was not to our liking but again that was reflective in the price of the room, cereals would have been a better option in the absence of a full English breakfast of which we would have paid extra for if offered. My pet hate is those horrible hollow-fibre pillows which almost all accomodation now use, I usually bring my own feather pillow but forgot to pack it for this trip.
