The location is great!
Parking with a waterfall in the background! 😍
Cally is exceptional, attentive, helpful and prepared a great breakfast 🤤
It's nothing related to the hostel - but the "neighbour" of the room was a teenager with his mother - somewhat uneducated (he left the upstairs bathroom in a sad condition)! 🙄

Great staff, Cally was very nice, helpful and had a lot of patience.
Good location, at a side street so you don't hear traffic. Restaurants, shops and the bus stop are all in a walking distance.
Very comfortable.
Bed were comfy, the place was clean.
Very good value for money.
Could be warmer in the dining room and the water in the showers.

Nice family room! Super location, great facilities with guest fridge, comfy beds, lovely staff.
Kitchen appliances are a bit complicated to use and could do with a little more love.

Not sufficient sockets in room for the number of the beds.

I always enjoy staying at Vagabond due to its location and simplicity. Staff are always nice and helpful.
The people in another room letting their door slam at 3 in the morning.

Cally was really friendly & helpful, she made us really welcome and prepared some really tasty pizzas for dinner one evening 😊
The Vagabond is in a lovely village and about 30 minutes drive to Llanberis if you’re looking to climb Snowdon.
We had a family room which had plenty of space and the double bed was really comfy. Showers are nice and hot, and there’s an onsite bar if you don’t fancy strolling to one of the pubs/restaurants.
This was my second stay and would happily return 👍

Great location, competitive pricing.
We were put in a room with a other person, which considering the amount of rooms available was not great, there were beds unmade from previous stayers in the room AND the bar wasn't open! Considering that was a reason for choosing the place it was really disappointing.

It was located in the centre of the town. Easy access to public transport
The toilet wasn’t clean for the dorm I had taken

No frills! It’s a dry, warm bed and a shower. The location is excellent, just 5 minutes from centre of town.
Didn’t eat there as you had to pre-book and wasn’t that organised. From what I saw the pizzas looked decent and breakfast good. It’s got a bar too!
For the price it’s great value.

Ideally located on the edge of Betws y Coed and within walking distance of pubs and places to eat. Friendly staff and efficient communication and info
Interior is tired and is in need of modernisation and would benefit from a deep clean. Showers were only lukewarm. No or little storage in the room and no hooks to hang or air clothing 🙁

Nice little bunkhouse just off the beaten track in a very beautiful part of Eryri.
Wasn't sure where the washrooms were. Could only find a single toilet with a sink.

The Vagabond Bunkhouse is a beautiful old world style building, set in a tranquil area with a lovely forest backdrop. The staff are very friendly and the pizzas are some of the best we've ever had.
Location is perfect for exploring Betws-y-Coed and the surrounding areas. You can walk to the local restaurants, Spar, Londis and the station, where you can catch the excellent Sherpa'r bus to-and-from Snowdon if you're planning to hike up. An all-day 'bws' ticket for the family is £15, which is good value as you don't need to worry about parking at Snowdon.
Back at the Vagabond the rooms are pretty basic but clean and comfortable. The family room (sleeps 5) has two bunk beds: one with single up and down, and one with a single on top and a double (3/4) under. It also had a small basin but nothing more.
Being a bunk house the toilets and showers are communal. The dining area and deck have lovely wooden tables and are welcoming. The Vagabond serves pizza for supper and a full cooked breakfast (extra charges). Considering the limited menu I don't think they would have a problem if you bought your own food to eat there.
Pros: location, affordability, great staff.
Cons: not self catering, communal facilities.

Really enjoyable solo stay in a cosy spot. Well run by polite and attentive staff, always engaging in conversation and making sure I was comfortable.
Back from the main round so nice and quiet/private. Short walk to the centre, the staff have plenty of recommendations. Would stay here again and met some very nice people
Thank you!

The property from the outside looked lovely .. we had easy access to the building as we received a message before our stay with the key code for the main door & for our room.
Our room was plenty big enough for the 3 of us and the mattress was pretty comfortable so slept well.
We had full access to the house which was great and allowed us to fill up our drink bladders and store food in the fridge.
The property was in a great location
The property is in need of updating/decoration. The room looked clean on entering but it was actually very dusty especially the radiator and the room smelt musty.
The curtain pole was broken so when we tried to pull them at night the rail came down.
Our room had creaky floorboards as did the doors and hallways.
We were happy to see it had a bar but unfortunately when we were there it wasn’t open during our stay.

Location, clean and accessible, friendly staff and excellent facilities
The only comment I'd make is the guest fridge could be bigger and there was puddles of water in the bottom and there was no freezer compartment.

Your staff were exceptional, friendly, very accommodating and helpful. I had food that needed to be in a fridge and they helped me with this. The pizzas were amazing!!!!
Only having 2 toilets amongst 30 odd people was a challenge! It was disappointing not to have any staff on site to sort out the noisy/drunk stag group that was staying, talking/laughing loudly at the outside tables and chairs until 1am when we had to get up at 2:40am for a charity climb. I also booked rooms where all our colleagues would be together yet one of team ended up on his own in the room with the stag group, he didn't get any sleep and had a day of climbing 3 mountains in front of him!

Location was perfect, really handy for everything we needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and nice and quiet — had a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was spot on, good choice and really set us up for the day. Overall, really happy with the stay would definitely come back!

Great location with parking. Great value for money and lovely hot powerful showers. Toilet not far from room.
Mattress on double bunk was soft and made you roll to edge of bed, 2nd person rolling onto the first.
Chipped glass jug, mugs and plates at breakfast.

Location wise it is just a short walk into the center of the village. The room was large, met our needs well and the shared bathroom facilities were nearby and clean.
Not applicable there was nothing I found which was not to my liking, it was good on all counts.

Our room was above a bar, that didn’t close until the early morning. Our room had the communal toilet plumbed in so woke us up every time someone used it until 3am
