We received a very warm welcome and had cosy and comfortable rooms. The breakfast was excellent.

Had a lovely stay here at Afon View. My room was perfect, really comfortable and had a great view. The bed was super comfy too, I had such a good sleep! The hosts were great! Really friendly and went out of their way to be hospitable and accommodating. I’d definitely stay here again!

I would recommend this stay to everyone! What an amazing place. The hospitality shown by the owners was outstanding, with clear information sent ahead of our stay, which was useful throughout to refer to. My partner and I are vegan, and were well catered for. The vegan pancakes in particular were amazing. The room was beautiful, incredibly clean and relaxing.I can't wait to stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at this B&B in Wales. The place was cozy, spotless, and full of character, with beautiful surroundings that made it feel truly special. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. It was the ideal spot to relax and also a great base for exploring the area. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Wales and would love to come back! 🌿✨

Lovely B&B ideal for hiking around snowdonia and enjoying the views. Host was really friendly and knowledgeable, and the local town had some great places to eat and drink. Would stay here again :)

Everything about Afon View exceeded my expectations- from the warm welcome, to the breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients right through to the friendly hosts. This is a B&B I will visit again!

Excellent location, lovely comfortable rooms, exceptional hosts who make amazing breakfasts! Would def stay there again without a doubt, nothing was too much trouble and were very knowledgeable about the area

The rooms we stayed in no7 and our sons room no 5 were both nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. The hosts were very friendly. It was an added bonus to have the use of a residents lounge and a guest fridge. parking is available at the rear of the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hosts -very friendly and accommodating, and with great communication throughout. Accommodation was great - clean & comfortable room & bathroom, with plenty of amenities and there was plenty of choice for breakfast too (eg. Full English, avocado smash, vegan pancakes, waffles, porridge, cereals, etc). Excellent central location - with parking and bus stops/train station nearby.

The property was very clean and the triple room was cosy and comfortable. Perfect location. Large enough to hardly notice other guests, good sound-proofing. Own car-parking at the back which was very convenient. Steps leading down to the entrance which is to be expected in a village in the hills.

Location was great Gid and Izabella were extremely helpful and pleasant. Would recommend them to anyone. Good luck to them in the future.

The location was great for us. The rooms, facilities and breakfast were exceptional ! The hosts were super helpful, kind and informative about the local area.

I didn't have the breakfast. The location is excellent...centre of the village. The hosts were very helpful and seem keen to do anything they can to help. I met Gid and Izabella....very nice people. The internet service is excellent...you get a strong signal any my room was top floor....3rd floor....I can't say the same for all places I've stayed.

A beautiful property, extremely clean and great facilities including parking and an honesty bar. Gid and Izabela are the perfect hosts - friendly, warm and welcoming and didn’t mind helping us out when we’d accidentally booked too short a stay!

Everything. We stayed 3 nights here and couldn't ask for a better accommodation. Located in the gorgeous village Betws-y-coed, we could walk out and hang out in the village or drive to any location in Snowdonia - everything is within reasonable driving distance. The house is charming and so is the room we got. Although small, it was pleasant and comfy with a lovely view. You can tell the owners thought of every detail when designing the rooms, to give the guests the best experience. The owner, Gideon, was absolutely lovely and gave us a list of recommendation as well.

Nothing really. The water pressure wasn't great since this is a Victorian house so nothing could be done about that, not a big deal.

Shower facilities poor due to suboptimal water pressure and toilet required several attempts to flush. A real shame as many positives to the place!

Amazing stay! Lovely hosts, great location.

The shower wasn't warm on the first morning. We got up very early to hike up Snowdon and was told the water doesn't come on until 5.30am. The shower wasn't very powerful either. Only fault.

Room was beautifully appointed with good modern bathroom attached. Breakfast was pleasant and Gid was very friendly and helpful throughout.

There's a bit of traffic noise at night if you have the window open. Oddly, there were steps down within our bathroom, which could catch out the unwary or sleepy! Initial comms weren't the best as I wasn't expecting the code for entry to be sent on WhatsApp, so for a while we were concerned we'd be unable to check in. Our stay was early in the week (Mon & Tue) so eating options in Betws-y-coed were limited, with most stopping serving food around 8pm

Location was great and parking at the rear was ideal for us. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. A very nice sitting room and dining room. The chandelier in the dining room was amazing! The cooked breakfast was very good.

We stayed at Afon View Guest House for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, made with locally sourced ingredients that added a special touch each morning. The hosts were absolutely amazing friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay. Their local knowledge and recommendations really enhanced our visit. The location in Betws-y-Coed is perfect. Surrounded by beautiful walking trails and nature, it’s ideal for those who love the outdoors. There are plenty of family adventure activities nearby, and it’s just a 30-minute drive to Snowdon, which was the main goal of our trip. There are also many stunning castles in the area, each with views straight out of a fairy tale. We’re already thinking about our next trip to North Wales, and without a doubt, we’ll be coming back to Afon View!

Many activities, lovely walk along river, near train station and halal restaurant with good food

Parking lots to house, steep stairs and need to climb more stairs to our room on the last floor.
