Friendly pub owner, quiet location with a pub on-site. Fairly close to the hiking areas.

The room and communal areas were very clean and the kitchen well stocked with utensils and equipment. Comfy beds with thick duvets.
Great local store opposite (8am-8pm) - everything you'd need and expect from a hostel of this type.
Nothing really - it was fine for us for what we needed for this trip.

Short drive to Betws-y-coed
Very cold, maybe bad time of year to have stayed there. Radiator was set to be on at certain times only but wasn’t enough to warm the room.
