Very nice stay, would book again
Easy to find, parking great, lovely clean room. Smelt beautifully fresh and inviting.
I couldn't find the remote for the Telly, but that was not an issues but there was a telly advertised I just couldn't use it. A little noises from the bar downstairs but that couldn't be helped as it is a working pub also.

Y Griffin is a hidden gem!
Everyone at Y Griffin was extraordinarily helpful, nice, and friendly. The food was delicious, and the room was quite comfortable and clean.

Fantastic pub/restaurant with lovely rooms!
The friendly staff, namely the bar manager and the chef were both exceptional, warm, friendly and attentive. There was lots of food options and a variety of ‘rooms’ to eat in - ranging from the bar area with the TV to a quieter lounge type area and also what seemed to be a ‘proper’ restaurant area also. They have excellent facilities for children, although can’t really comment as we didn’t have children with us. The room we booked was a family room, we chose this as it was bigger. The furniture was quality and decorated nicely. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large shower.
Only one thing that wasn’t great was the size of the bathroom - it was a little small. It wasn’t a real issue as it had everything in you need however I did really burn my leg on the exceptionally hot towel radiator whilst on the loo! (Due to the space issue) My own fault really but with it being a family room I think the radiator should be lowered. This would not put me off staying again however as the place is exceptional, I would just be more careful!

Easy to find and comfortable on a rainy day.
A very comfortable room, almost newly refurbished I imagine. Loved the extra touches of biscuits and care items in the bathroom. It's a great location, with parking on the street or an off-road bay for customers.

Great stay in a well looked after hotel.
The room was a good size, it was clean and tidy and not noisy. The room overlooked the main road so when the windows were open there was traffic noise, but when closed it was very quiet. There was parking at the rear and the staff were both friendly and helpful. It was a good shower in the shower room. We ate in the hotel for an evening meal and for breakfast. The food in the hotel was very tasty and the service was excellent. The lounge and bar were nice spaces to be in.
The shower room was quiet small, but there was nothing they could have done about that really.
