It’s centrally located for hiking and otherwise well connected. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with everything from storing of luggage, helping out if I needed anything, and most importantly they were really nice to chat with.

No parking, showers - either flooded or poor water pressure.

very friendy staff, had bar and lots of food choices, plus great self catering kitchen.
shower we had was a bit basic, sheets really noisy if you have to turn over, doors loud,

The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. It’s a nice location, about 30’ drive from Scafell Pike car park.
The drying room got turned off during the night so all our stuff was still soaked in the morning. We had a private room for 4 people with only one socket so we struggled to charge phones etc There was an issue with the water pressure which apparently is a regular thing and we there was no water in the showers for over half hour.
