Property was in a beautiful location, it was quaint and peaceful.
We arrived late to check in as we only decided to stay out earlier that day. The staff were friendly, but we asked if the TV was working as we couldn’t get a signal, the staff came to our room to try and rectify the issue and this couldn’t be resolved. We just wanted a nice shower, cup of tea and relax eating the TV, but unfortunately this didn’t happen. No TV at all.

Very clean and comfortable. Rooms are only serviced on request but staff more than willing to do this. Also quick to respond to any requests, we were rather warm in the room and a fan was soon provided together with a top up of coffee capsules and clean cups and glasses.
The restaurant and bar were not open during our stay but the ‘sister’ hotel, which was only a one minute walk served good food and drink although I would recommend booking as this is open to the public as well as hotel guests.

Location excellent
Breakfast was served at a sister hotel . Very poor service and ran out of bacon, beans and mushrooms. Meals arrived cold

Staff friendly and welcoming. Small TV had no signal, had to use sister hotel across the bridge for breakfast, short staffed , shower powerful but unable to adjust, so had to hold , nice spacious room with double aspect windows
