Bishopsgate House Hotel

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The venue was close to everything that I wanted to see and do and the staff could not have been more delightful. The food was delicious, both breakfasts and the evening meal I had. Everyone in the dining room was very complimentary towards the chef and staff. As a female travelling alone, I highly recommend this "home from home".

I had no issues, in fact on arrival I was offered a free upgrade because they were concerned that the small room I had booked would not meet my needs. I declined, I had no issues with the room and was impressed with how willing they were to try and ensure that my stay was comfortable.

Breakfast good.

The bar closed at 7pm. Very poor for a hotel.

Bishopgate had a lot of character. Ideal location and very helpful friendly staff. It is unique it’s “ charm” but each room has its own character unfortunately mine had low beams so I suffered quite a few head bangs. Do not expect a modern bedroom hotel with its neat lines. My room certainly had character and the dusky pink sanitary wear and wash basin taps come from a different era … but that it’s charm! And where do you now find a hotel with linen table clothes and table service plus your breakfast cooked to order. I’d certainly stay again.

Inform customers about the low beams so…. Not ideal for a tall 6foot.

Food was good

Poor internet coverage in room, had to use laptop in lounge.
