Great location for snowdon trek

There were 2 nearby convenience stores where an adequate breakfast could be bought. The adjacent welcoming pub allowed one to take in meals from nearby take-away shops: Pizzas, Fish and chips. Parking was easy after 5 pm and apparently there was a dedicated all-day parking slot for the house. The bedroom was very comfortable albeit was on the upper floor and the shared bathroom was on the floor below, The arrangement suited me very well because Bethesda gives very easy access to Snowdonia and I was very pleased to stay in an active slate mining town. The owner of the property was an interesting individual especially given time to talk to him. Given a key, I was free to come and go freely.

I didn't easily see the entrance to the property. I wondered whether there would be adequate drying opportunities for wet clothes. Certainly an interesting alternative from the regimentation of B and B's and hotels. Access from the front door to my room was clumsy but manageable arrangement.

Bethesda was a great location. Nice and peaceful with a nature reserve at back of house with walking trails as well as access to the Snowdonia Slate Trail. Easy access for buses to Bangor and to Betws-Y-Coed, Ogwen and Corwen. The room was big and functional. Nights were quiet so great for a good sleep after long days out. The host, Joe also went out of his way to drop my bag off to me in Bangor so that I could enjoy my day without my bag. That was very kind and very much appreciated. If I come back I would definitely stay again. Thank you Joe.

Joe is very enthusiastic and kind. nice room nice view
