Stanley Arms

I stayed there, just as a stopover. the member of staff I saw, was really helpful, showed me to the room, sorted wifi code, and explained how to get out when I left. (Around 3am).

The only problem I found, was the tv remote didn't work, (probably batteries). Due to leaving so early, and needing sleep, I didn't bother going to get them replaced, so not really a complaint there.

Friendly and helpful staff.The room was an adequate size for me as a solo traveller and would be ok for 2 people. Although the whole place looked slightly run down it was comfortable and quite clean. Bathroom was large and had a good shower. I only had one drink in the bar and it was a good pint. There was secure parking for my bicycle but as I needed to leave early the next morning for my train I couldn't use bit as there would be nobody around at 07.00 to open the secure space for me. I chained my bike up at the back of the pub in the smokers area and had no problems.

Holyhead town centre is quite run down although there were some very nice shops, there were also quite a lot of boarded up or closed ones too. I wouldn't want to spend too much time in Holyhead.

Pleasant staff, comfortable bed, nice shower, very close to the port for getting the ferry.

Easy to access for a late check in, contacted prior to arriving and staff left key in a lock box

There was a slant in the room so the bed by the window had a fall in it
