Quiet, beautifully kept inside and out.

Exiting the main drive was a little blind but there was a well located mirror to help.

Breakfast and evening meal really good. Ver comfortable rooms.

Our room (foxglove room 1) was lovely and comfortable. The property is in a tranquil and beautiful location. Breakfast was fabulous. Our hosts were very friendly and had thought of every detail to make our stay special.

Wonderful short break. We were met by our host Gareth on our arrival and were given a tour of the house and then shown to our garden room. The house is set in 3 acres of grounds with walks on the property. Our garden room was a tad small but beautifully decorated. There were plenty of hooks and hangers to use with room under the bed for our cases. Our room overlooked the bird feeding station which I enjoyed immensely. Every morning I took my coffee outside to the little patio and watched the multiple types of birds, including a woodpecker! The breakfast, which has to be booked the day before, is fantastic. There are multiple options from a full Welsh to a South African which my sister had twice she enjoyed it that much. The bed is lovely and comfortable with a soft and hard pillow option. The house is a few minutes from Dolgellau. It is in a perfect location for seeing the local area. The hosts were a mine of information suggesting places to visit and restaurant recommendations. They couldn't do enough for us.

Ordering breakfast the day before wouldn't be my preference but it was fine. Cereals, juices etc are self service but the cooked items are ordered the day before. I can understand why they would want to do this as it is more efficient and avoids waste.
