Already knew the pub for great food. Stayed to attend day 2 of the Ffestiniog Railway Victorian Weekend gala. Lovely big room and good breakfast. Very friendly .
Had to ask for heating and told only for an hour!

Room extremely cold in the morning and evenings. When we asked they put the heating on the first night we arrived. On the remaining evenings we did ask twice to no avail. Food received is not what you order eg- ordered one well cooked sausage with a small portion of scrambled egg (made with one egg) what we received was two very undercooked sausages and a large portion of very watery scrambled egg each.
