Poor stay, bad facilities and no where near worth the money - the hotel seems famous for its summer garden but better of

The bed was comfy and it was close to the centre of town

The bathroom was tiny, sink was so small that you couldn’t even wash your face. It’s like a caravan bathroom and not suitable for a hotel. The floors were creaky and people woke us up in the rock next door. There was stains on the bed sheets and even though promised 50% off parking in 2 locations they said 1 when I got there (after parking at the other location) and then to make it worse when I moved the car the “discount” ticket they gave me did not even work! And I paid the full price for parking anyway, poor organisation for a hotel that charges £280 for 2 nights 😅 the stairs are also a joke, so many to get to your room and it’s like a maze to get up there. The wardrobe is like a piece of wood with an ikea mirror next to it, comparing to other hotels in the area it’s super low quality.

I was in Room 16, and unfortunately I lost electricity during the night, and therefore the emergency fire exit light came on, it was so bright I didn’t get any sleep all night and struggled in the dark, no compensation was offered 😞

Excellent stay

The location was excellent, all staff were extremely friendly and we even checked in early. I pre warmed the hotel about being GF and dairy free and my breakfast was lovely. Thank you so much for that.

Perfect central location

The staff make a place and this is no exception. Mega helpful and friendly, its all you want after a long trip is to walk in and be treated nicely so tops marks. The rooms are nice and high ceilings, it's a period property so you have to accept the secondary glazing as I would expect its listed, but in either case it works well and the noise is minimal. The heat in the room is easily changed at the radiator. A good hack by the way is if you do forget your charger the phones there have a USB point on the back of them that works well. Breakfast was nice with a hot plate and freshly made. Fresh coffee and again a really nice greeting.

Great location a very short walk into the main shopping areas. Very clean with good quality bedding, modern bathroom with handwash/shower gel Staff were very pleasant Excellent value for money -we stayed on a Monday night and managed to get an excellent room rate. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on the food.

Amazing

The most amazing place to stay. The staff were really nice and very accommodating. The hotel is very well kept and looked beautiful with the christmas decorations up. The room was spotless with nice extras like bottles of water. We had the breakfast, which had such a good choice, and the cooked breakfast was well cooked. For the price we paid it was amazing. We would definitely come again if visiting Chester.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location near centre of Chester. Clean and stylish room. Ample and tasty breakfast. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend.

There was only one chair in the room even though it was a double room with two people staying (hotels often do this and I've no idea why). The lighting in the room was poor - multiple spotlights that cast bright lights and created dark shadows - difficult to see to unpack.

Night in Chester visiting Student Son.

Clean & comfortable accommodation, pet friendly so meant our 2 small dogs got a little night away aswell! Dog bowl & comfy dog bed in the room on arrival. Staff very welcoming. Room clean with lovely bathroom. We stayed room only so can not comment on breakfast. Excellent location right in the heart of Chester.
