Amazing

The most amazing place to stay. The staff were really nice and very accommodating. The hotel is very well kept and looked beautiful with the christmas decorations up. The room was spotless with nice extras like bottles of water. We had the breakfast, which had such a good choice, and the cooked breakfast was well cooked. For the price we paid it was amazing. We would definitely come again if visiting Chester.

Exceptional stay

Great location to town and river. Hotel lovely and decorated beautifully gor Xmas. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Tea coffee and biscuits. Good toiletries. Breakfast delicious and plentiful. Staff very friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again. Thank you 😊

Great place to stay near town centre

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location near centre of Chester. Clean and stylish room. Ample and tasty breakfast. Excellent value for money. Definitely recommend.

There was only one chair in the room even though it was a double room with two people staying (hotels often do this and I've no idea why). The lighting in the room was poor - multiple spotlights that cast bright lights and created dark shadows - difficult to see to unpack.

Night in Chester visiting Student Son.

Clean & comfortable accommodation, pet friendly so meant our 2 small dogs got a little night away aswell! Dog bowl & comfy dog bed in the room on arrival. Staff very welcoming. Room clean with lovely bathroom. We stayed room only so can not comment on breakfast. Excellent location right in the heart of Chester.

We loved Chester but possibly wouldn't stay at the Town House again.

The staff we met were excellent and could not be faulted. They were the highlight of our stay. All thanks to them. The breakfast was good value. The location was very good. The bed was comfortable

Our room (2) was dingy/dark. The wallpaper over the radiator was starting to peel off the wall. The window and the window-frame in the bathroom had not been cleaned for a very long time indeed.

Lovely city but we didn’t sleep much!

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful

It was so noisy at night. The room was really hot so we had to have the window open so we got woken up all through the night by people going home after a night out. The shower was really weak as well.

Highly recommended, but accessibility was an issue.

Great location, very clean and a fabulous breakfast! Shower was hot and powerful. There’s a pool table in the lounge for entertainment. Staff really friendly and 24 hour reception.

The stairs! Steep flight of stairs to access the property and then stairs up to the rooms, and no lift. Not a problem for anyone agile, but I struggled (my fault, I should have checked the accessibility when I booked). Room quite small but adequate for our two night stay.

Check in, was smooth, great location, lovely view from room , clean room and had everything you need. Bed a little soft for me but slept well, breakfast amazing

Our only disappointment was the shower, it took us ages to get it warm and when we did it reduced the pressure to next to nothing and in the end we gave up, we were only staying one night so it wasn't too bad but had we stayed longer it wouldn't have been ideal, maybe worth checking.

A great find central to Chester

Young man on reception was very friendly,informative and happy to help in any way he could. The lady at breakfast was fantastic,friendly and efficient. The room was brilliant for a group. Plenty of room,comfortable beds and a lovely touch was the bottles of water,tea/coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was delicious.

We could hear people talking from another room and a lot of walking about on top of the basement bedroom but it wasn't a huge problem.
