The choice of drinks at the bar I overheard somebody asking for cocktails I asked for a cocktails but they’re not served the lack of staff and waiting around to be served for drinks was a little bit slow It was my 12 month anniversary although there was a card and some chocolates and petals on the bed for the same package that I ordered last year I had balloons and drinks , this year we didn’t. I had to ask about the drinks to be told they’re in the fridge, we had no fridge in the room. We were brought two little tiny bottles of wine and told they were the last ones neither of us drink, white wine, my partner drinks, red wine and I drink sparkling wine.

Location, swimming pool and steam/sauna, free parking, beautiful outlook from restaurant and pool. Staff were friendly and courteous, in particular Jimmy in the restaurant was a gem, made our evening meal extra special, and David was very attentive at breakfast service.

No lift- not a problem for us but if bigger cases for a longer stay it would have been a potential issue . No aircon , fan provided gave some relief.

Great hotel. Lovely breakfast, superb pool. Easy parking with a park and ride into the city close by. Staff amazing.

Tried to book in just before 3pm but was told room not ready, check in is 3pm. Tried again at 3pm was told they are doing final check on room ( this does not happen) tried to book in at 3.07 was told still not ready. This really spoilt our experience
