Conveniently located, near a birthday celebration venue otherwise might have chosen different accommodation. We stayed in an attic room which was nicely decorated and furnished though maybe a little tired and in need of updating in places. It did had a super king bed with Hypnos mattress and a fridge. There was a huge double shower in adjacent wash area. However, there were other issues like being extremely warm in the room with one Velux window that opened 2” and air con that didn’t work. One bedside lamp and standard lamp didn’t work and the second bedside light stopped working the morning we left. We had to tune the TV to watch the News in the morning. Both of us are 5ft 2 and kept hitting our heads in the toilet room which was like a broom cupboard next to the fireplace. Definitely felt like one of Alice’s adventures in wonderland!
Some people have found these rooms noisy which it was during the day but we weren’t there for long and when we returned from our celebrations everything was quiet.
We only stayed one night and didn’t eat or drink here and didn’t meet many staff but those that we did meet were friendly and polite.
If you book a stay here you also have to be prepared for x4 flights of stairs plus another flight from pavement level to their main door.

Hotel was in a central.location but lacked a few basics, eg shampoo and conditioner and a fridge that worked. Brought it to the attention of staff but nothing changed... be prepared for a bathroom in the bedroom with glass walls and no privacy.
Otherwise the facilities were great.

We stayed at Oddfellows for one night. It was in a great location and really good price. It was one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in, would 100% reccomend!

Arrived to great reception from Nancy,room at first looked lovely, wanted a bath but bath grimy,dusty and dry from cleaning chemicals, so decided against, lots of dust round skirting boards, and bedside table,we used the ironing board and it collapsed close to my feet,luckily I moved out of the way.It took two of us to put it back together.Slept ok,comfy bed.nice and dark in the room.Woke up due to cleaning staff hoovering outside of the door.Really let down,informed staff at reception.Hope things look better for the next guests.
