We selected the Boathouse due to its location in Chester. The hotel was great to stay in with little background noise. The views were good, being able to watch the rowers from the local clubs in the comfort of the restaurant. LThe food was not too bad either.

Booked the double room that was listed as also a twin room. Ended up with a twin beds. Im sure i selected double bed on the booking. Manager was going to push the beds together.
The room was ground floor on the carpark. No view of the dee.
Room was very warm an you couldn't open the curtains or window much as it was facing a busy car park.
I travelled from liverpool for a one night break. Looked forward to some much needed peace, quiet and a big double bed.
No other rooms available.
Unfortunately this stay wasnt meant to be.
As I booked through Agoda I had to contact them for the refund.
Car parks busy good luck getting a space.
If there are rooms overlooking the dee then I'd imagine they are probably great.
Personally not for me considering I just wanted a specifically quiet night away to relax.
Staff were welcoming and polite. Great view of the dee from the bar. If only the rooms were there instead of the bar!
