Easy to find, easy to park, friendly staff, good sized clean and comfortable room. We'll located to walk into Chester in 10 minutes along the canal. Exceptional value for.money Great hotel if you're visiting Chester.
Nothing much to not like! If being ultra picky bathrooms are compact.

The layout was modern and the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Hannah and the other staff who were on reception and the bar.

The hotel is in a great location on the canal, only about 10-15 walk to the town centre, a few lovely pubs by the canal and Waitrose is directly next door to stock up on necessities
Absolutely nothing

Cool industrial feel
Parking was a pain, plenty surrounding the venue but it wasn’t fun having to drive around the one way system several times and then walking 10 mins in pouring rain. Granted, bad timing with the weather and nothing the hotel could do to prevent it but it was a result of poor parking capacity at the venue.

It’s a very stylish, funky space. The room was cosy and didn’t feel too “hotel-y”. It was also very clean and nicely stocked with coffee/tea and nespresso. The staff were very friendly and were happy to go out of their way to help us. The breakfast was good with a huge variety of things like hot food, pastries, cereals and hot and cold drinks. The location was good, only a short walk/uber from the centre of town.
I only wish hotels provided decaf tea as well as coffee but that’s just my personal preference as I’m caffeine free - that’s my only complaint!

A good location in walking distance of Chester centre, and we managed to get a space in the car park outside though the payment amount and method was confusing. Buffet breakfast of hot and cold food, including some vegan options, served in a good time window. The room was quiet and comfortable though the en suite was tiny. Toiletries provided were of good quality. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we were lucky to get access to our room early. I liked that there was a bar, and food available if required. The price we paid was good value including breakfast, but there are many eateries in Chester if you prefer to go elsewhere for breakfast.
The open industrial space of the bar/restaurant had little atmosphere, and there were few tables at normal dining height except for a long refectory style table. The space was draughty with two doors leading off to outside. We stayed for 3 nights from new years eve, and had no room service during our stay, though we were supplied with towels and more refreshment supplies when we asked.

Hotel quite new. Reflected in the condition of furnishings in the guest room and public areas. Room very clean. Nice big TV. Good shower / pressure / hot water. Decent fluffy white towels. Slept well, bed comfortable. Wi-Fi worked fine.
Canal view room the best, worth requesting. Nice traffic free walk into the city. Quirky / boutique vibe. Good comfortable public areas on 1st level for relaxing / reading / coffee.
Clothing storage in the room poor if staying for more than one night - four coat hangers and a few hooks on a mesh grid affair fixed to the wall. Might look good to a hipster from Shoreditch but not practical. Room temperature difficult to control- had to open a window (in December),not a problem with a canal side room as no external noise. Bathroom small in line with modern budget hotels of the same ilk, but no problem for one night. Breakfast was self service and included in the room rate - it was sufficient. Avoid busy times to get a table to yourself. Replenishment of some food items did not happen in a timely fashion or at all. Staff were a mixed bag. Those at breakfast were OK, seemed a little short on numbers. Evening staff and at check in gave the impression of being disinterested with a surly manner. Maybe not suited to a career in hospitality.

Located close to the station & town centre. Modern clean rooms & price included welcome drink & breakfast . We arrived abit earlier than 3pm checkin & our room was ready , so a real bonus to check in earlier. Staff were very friendly & pleasant .
Nothing , it was a great stay . The only slightly negative was that the help yourself hot breakfast was abit cold and areas very busy but that was probably due to the time we arrived at 9.15 am .

Really lovely staff, couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Rooms lovely, clean and comfortable. Just a short walk from Chester city centre.
Rooms on 1st floor can be noisy. Not enough seats and tables for breakfast during weekend mornings.

Rooms small but well designed.

Surprisingly good breakfast
Party on Saturday night went on to 12. We were on second floor so quite loud. Would be ok if on higher floors.

Location of hotel excellent
Reception area was also where you ate breakfast and it was very busy and loud, not particularly enjoyable for having a meal. We therefore eat out each evening rather than stayed in the hotel.

Clean, quiet and comfortable room, good food and selection, very good friendly and dedicated staff.
There were only 4 coat-hangers🙁.
The shower room was rather cramped, and didn't have sufficient towel rail space.
We didn't like having dogs in the eating area at all.

Great location. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was great value.
Parking! No notice before hand that spaces were limited at the hotel and that we would have to park a good 10 minute walk away and it was really bad weather, windy and raining. My husband isn’t steady on his feet so that wasn’t helpful. On arrival, no welcome cocktail like always offered. We had to approach the man to check in when also like other stays, staff are welcoming and very friendly. I felt we were disturbing the two staff men who were engaged in a conversation.
We grabbed a drink to wait for others to arrive and tables were dirty and contained plates and cups. We cleaned one table and took the plates and cups to the desk and the man thanked us! Didn’t apologise that we’re were cleaning up. Also the cushions had pet hair on which was really off putting.
Our room was red hot. Air conditioning wasn’t working. Stood in a line of two other people to inform reception, they were complaining too about this. The man said he was aware. That why not pre warn us?
The same black and white film was on repeat over the two days!
My go too is a Moxy and we have stayed in many every time we visit a city if we can get in. I found this Moxy really let the name down so much I’d not stay in this one again.

Fantastic location. I had to go with family, but work from there. The place is great if you need to balance work and some time off!
Perhaps the food could be a bit better

Building work is being done and we woke on Saturday morning to a lot of noise. We had been put in a room adjacent to the building work. It was a bit annoying
