El departamento es muy lindo y cómodo, la ubicación es muy buena, llegas caminando a la estación de tren y cerca del departamento hay muchos restaurancitos para comer, fue muy conveniente la ubicación.

Los edificios por fuera no se ven lindos, por lo demás todo estuvo excelente, el anfitrión nos obsequió una botella de vino, es un detallazo que valoramos mucho.

The overall apartment was really nice. It's a great size, kitchen is stocked, the living room is spacious, the bedrooms are decent size. It also has a nice wrap around balcony.

The overall location of the apartment is not that great. While the physical proximity to Coop, important bus stops is nice and the apartment building itself is nice, it is literally next to the train tracks for Zurich HB. It is far enough from the station that the trains passing by as passing by fast and there is a constant noise of the trains since there are multiple tracks. So while the apartment has a balcony, for most of the stay we couldn't keep the doors open because of the constant noise of the trains. Secondly, this is the main station and so I am sure there is lots of work going on to fix things on the tracks. On both the nights we stayed, there was work going on. This meant that from 8pm to 5am, there was a constant 100db+ alarm and flashing lights that went on every few seconds to warn about the oncoming trains to whoever was working on the tracks. I read about this a bit and it seems that summer during nights is the time when this happens. This is unfortunate because summer is hot, and keeping doors to balcony open meant that we just couldn't sleep during the night because of the constant high volume sound. Closing it meant that we could get no breeze whatsoever. There were no fans in the unit. To be clear, this is not something that is a fault of the host, it's just the reality of the location of the unit which is next to the tracks. The apartment lacked some basic stuff like bath soap, hand soap, etc. There was one (yes literally one) dishwashing tablet. We booked for 2 days and we booked this apartment so that we could cook and 1 tablet just isn't enough. I reached out to ask if there was bath soap, hand soap etc somewhere that I hadn't discovered but I was told that they don't provide that.
