Good location, but poor privacy and an apartment that does not match the listing

The only positive aspect of this accommodation was its proximity to my workplace. Aside from the location, the overall experience was disappointing.

I stayed at this property for several days, and unfortunately the accommodation does not match what is advertised on Booking.com. One of the main issues was privacy. The apartment is equipped with so-called “spaghetti curtains” — thin, decorative string curtains that are annoying in daily use and provide absolutely no meaningful level of privacy. They are purely decorative and do not block visibility from outside in any way. As a result, I was forced to keep the exterior shutters permanently closed throughout my stay just to maintain a basic level of privacy, which prevented normal use of the apartment and access to natural daylight. The photos shown on the Booking.com listing give the impression that the curtains provide privacy, but this is not the case in reality. The actual conditions are significantly different from what is presented online. I contacted Visionapartments several times during my stay to request a simple and reasonable solution, such as installing basic opaque or blackout curtains. Unfortunately, there was no willingness to understand the issue or to offer any corrective action, and the situation remained unresolved for the entire stay. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, mainly due to the lack of privacy, the misleading presentation of the listing, and the absence of responsiveness from the property.

For the price, it was ok, clean, and easily accessible place, but poor wifi.

The location was very good, close to tram stops. The room was clean and warm, which was especially appreciated since we stayed during winter.

The house had all the necessary appliances, but basic essentials like salt, pepper, and coffee were missing. Only the first device that connect to wifi could had access. Even if you log out, you couldn't log in to the network with other device due to some "policies".

Severe flooding from a clogged bathroom drain filling the whole apartment and no help from staff

The location is ok, and check-in was easy.

The bathroom drain was completely clogged. Every time I took a shower, the water overflowed from the bathroom into the main room and ended up flooding the entire area. I tried calling customer service, but no one answered. I also sent a message explaining the situation and asking for a fix, a room change, or at least fresh dry towels (since I had to use the ones I had to stop the water from spreading). The only reply I received was that my request was “your request was forwarded to the appropriate department” and then I heard nothing else. I’ve never had an experience this bad on any previous trip. An apartment flooded with water in mid of December with no support or any kind of help from the host.

Brilliant perfect clean unit right in the center of Zürich

Very beautiful , and well put together, they really designed and made good use of the space, I love the separation in the area so there’s glass doors that separates kitchen and living area to sleeping and also bathroom, everything you need for few days is available, absolutely top dollar for what you pay , perhaps they can fit a long mirror on the wardrobe or some where on the wall, only thing I missed 😊 other than that perfect great location, clean & comfortable stay , highly recommend

Brilliant stay, meets expectations and definately second time visit

neat and clean apartment with balcony, very close to train station and multiple options nearby within 200 mtrs for coffee, super markets, restaurents. The apartment had all the ammenities right from kitchen till the washroom, instructions given worked to the word with regards to door access, entrance and wi-fi connection. Commuting within the city was 10-15 mins in any direction.

daily housekeeping should have been provided. We called their helpline and they were clueless about our booking, there should be some local point of contact to reachout especially if you arrive late night.

The only decent aspect of this accomodation was the location.

Single Pillows and towels with excessive charge for additional amenities. Windows look directly into busy office building - no privacy even through toilet window. Lowset bed with poor matress - one person needed to climb over other in bed to get in and out of corner position. Lift does not go to top level rooms. Lift fits 1person and 1 suitcase at a pinch.

Clean, large Beautiful apartment but hard to locate and find window blinds

Clean, large beautiful.

First of all - that photo isn’t the building. Luckily another person there helped me find it. Second, the street light glares into the bedroom and I had to sleep on the living room floor. You need more detailed instructions - tell people with luggage that it is a third floor walk up. Tell people there is a switch to close blinds but that it is so hidden that it’s hard to find. Someone coming in the dark of night needs to know all this ahead of time. Also 10am check out is early - 11 would be better.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay. This apartment was perfectly suited to my needs.

Very comfy bed, well equipped kitchenette, bathroom including hair dryer. The key-free access was a good idea - didn't need to worry about the keys.

Wifi was unreliable. I didn't like that the interior doors, including bathroom doors, were transparent (glass). No fan in the bathroom.

Wifi is a bit problematic and heating is not enough. Lighting was not enough in bathroom. Additionally an adapter can leave to the room maybe at least one. Pillow was thin and not comfortable. Newer or better pillows can choose.

Comfy and convenient

Very good location - quiet, but 2 minutes from trams and 5 from train station, and 2 Co-ops close by. Well-equipped for an extended stay with a kitchenette, including a dishwasher and coffee machine! Comfy bed and lots of hot water. Laundry in the basement. Everything you'd need, really. Also, helpline was very good when I arrived in the dark and couldn't find the correct entrance.

No supplies, apart from a tiny bottle of washing-up liquid. So bring your own teabags / coffee / etc - it's not easy to buy locally the small quantities you need for a short visit. There are 2 entrances to the property and one of them - the one I was meant to use - is difficult to see from the street in the dark and inadequately signposted.

Great location, a few minutes walk to Wiedikon train station, easy transfer to airport, HB and the Lindt chocolate factory! Also, only about 15 minutes walk to the lake and shopping. Great having kitchen facilities with a fridge, good for brekkie as food is expensive. There are Coop’s everywhere.

Good location and reasonable price

The location is very close to tram stops and #14 to Zurich HB just about 10 minutes. A few more steps away there were coffee shops and Coop stores. The staff was very responsive and the contactless check in was convenient.

The shower drain was poor. The cleaning team tried to unclog it, but still not as good as expected. The air conditioner and the Wifi were kind of weak.

A cozy and well-located apartment, perfect for exploring Zurich!

We had a great stay in this cozy apartment! The location is perfect everything is within walking distance, and public transport is very close. The apartment itself was small but comfortable, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay.

The only downside was being on the top floor with no lift, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some.

Pleasant stay

The room was pleasantly bigger for an apartment. Facilities and utensils were clean and we have access to the roof balcony. Self check-in was easy.

The staircase to the roof balcony was a bit challenging for us to latch back to the ceiling. The elevator only stops at level 3 and we have to carry the luggages up 1 more level and the staircase is too narrow. It was a bit difficult to find the place as the entrance is hidden at the side, not visible from the road. We have a hard time finding the entrance upon reaching the building. The elevator is also way too small!! It can only fit 1 person and 1 med-sized luggage. We have a hard time getting the luggage into the elevator.

When we checked in, we were asked to check everything in the apartment. We said that the lamp was missing and the tap was leaking. The first time a woman came and took pictures of everything. The second time a plumber came, opening the door himself, my wife was there alone naked. We are outraged by this.

The location was fantastic .

There it was a situation with the cleaning lady . She just open the door without noticing , because she needed it something. At least she could knock. And when we ask for new towels she send us to clean then at the laundry room!!
