Unpleasant experience

Good location and low price

Check-in was unnecessarily complicated and poorly explained. When I called for help, the staff were not helpful, and one person even hung up on me. The room smelled musty and the bed was uncomfortable.

Bad price for its quality. Simple check in

Easy check in. Good balcony and has small kitchen facilities

Expensive for what it is worth. The shower was too small and had the slanted roof was in the way. The hallways had a bad smell to them and neighbours were loud of a night.

The walls need repainting; the water in the sink did not drain; the lamp on the nightstand had no socket to hook it up; the tv did not have a hook-up to either cable or satellite and was totally useless!

Overall good value for money

The location was great and the apartment had all the necessities for a short stay

There was an old blood stain on my pillow and I had to contact the staff to change it. A few more improvements would also elevate the experience significantly: 1. Adding curtains for more privacy, the windows didn’t have any. 2. Adding a small side table next to bed for phones, books etc. 3. More hangers in the closet, there was only 1 4. The people staying on my floor didn’t respect rules at night and went around screaming and talking on the phone which made it hard to fall asleep.

Nothing :(

Although we stated that we would stay with our child, there was only a double bed. The towel was only for two people, we wanted the third towel, but they didn't give it in any way. Already the host is very irrelevant to the host messages very late. Although the bed was a double person, the quilt they left in the room was single. They put paper instead of the pillow. In summary, it was very bad. It does not deserve the money given in any way. Although we travel very often, we were not so satisfied with a facility for the first time. Mediocre.

A very nice place, with tiny improvements like toiletries and a pillow, will make it even better.

Location is great for a tourists. Private bathroom. Window could be fully opened for fresh air. Quiet street. Fridge. Kitchenette.

No curtains, no nothing on the window for privacy. No complimentary shampoo, soap or body wash (take from home or buy ahead of time). Pillows is very thin and small, there should be at least one more larger and thicker pillow to comfortably sit in bed.

Great location but the room is not like pictures

The location was perfect, staff is quick to react and are friendly.

Compared to the pictures that apartment was really small. (In the pictures you could clearly see room on both sides of the bed and a large window.) The bed is very noisy tiny, movements were loud, we also missed one blanket (we fixed it with the staff).

It was in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants around. It was a Jewish neighborhood. The price was fair for Zurich. Toilet paper, shower gel and hairdryer was available. Sheets and towels were clean

The bathroom was not cleaned properly. There were long, dark hair everywhere. The ceiling had water damage and looked gross. The couch covers (removable) looked liked they have not (or never) been cleaned. The worst was, there was not even a sheer window covering at the window across the bed. The neighbors could look right onto our bed. There were two more windows only with ripped and dirty sheets (they cost 💲 5 online for a new pair) We only had one bedcover for two people (way too small) and one pillow each which were of poor quality.

Clean bed this is all!

Damaged window which was reported just after I came to the room. Nobody fixed it in 3 days!!!! It was dangerous. We cannot close the balcony and had to sleep and leave our stuff unsecured. Terrible customer service. 0 support!!! Broken shower so we couldn’t properly have a shower.

The bed was comfortable.

There was garbage in the bin, the shower was broken and there was no electric kettle. I wrote about this and was assured that it would be taken care of. When even on the second day the apartment was stinking, I called up the property. The customer care person was extremely rude and unhelpful. She even said they had so many properties and couldn’t keep talking to me! Finally the matter was sorted by booking.com’s intervention.

Not very comfortable.

The room was clean.

This was our second stay during the week at these flats as we were travelling around Switzerland. It is a studio flat and there wasn't much room. It had been cheaply furnished with second-hand furniture and not properly maintained. The crockery and cutlery were also bought second-hand as nothing matched. If you need to use tea-spoons, you will need to bring your own as there weren't any in the flat. There was a TV in the room, but it didn't work. (There also were not any batteries in the remote control but this was irrelevant as the TV didn't work.) We were told that somebody would fix the TV but nobody came. (We were there for four nights.) I would have expected some form of compensation for this but nothing was offered. There was no hot water on our second morning but this was fixed during the day. The duvet was not wide enough for a double bed.

The worst hotel stay I’ve ever had — misleading photos, broken facilities, and a completely neglected room.

Absolutely nothing. This property was a complete disappointment from start to finish.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The photos on Booking.com were completely misleading. The TV didn’t work, the bathroom light was broken, there was rubbish inside the wardrobe, and there was no blind or curtain — so the room was flooded with daylight from early morning. The whole place felt dirty and neglected. Avoid this hotel if you’re visiting Zurich.

Misleading information regarding Parking> it should just say 'NO', instead of 'parking onsite' or similar references to give a false impression, on purpose, that there is. I received 6 consecutive emails with the same info for the check in.

Great location for exploring Zurich

The room was very clean and the you couldn't really have asked for a better location.

While neighbours were good about respecting the quiet hours, soundproofing was nonexistent. When the neighbour took a shower; it sounded like they were in your room. So, if you're a light sleeper, please be prepared.

Awful place

The location was okay

The state of it was well below what was advertised. There was what looked like blood stains on the bed sheets and other stains on the mattress and the room itself. I would go as far as to say this residence should not be listed on here. When checking Google reviews I can see lots of 1 star reviews having a similar experience. The hallways were filled with rubbish and the pictures uploaded to the app (booking.com) do not represent the property by any means of the imagination, I think they have just found images of another hotel/apartment and used it as their own. We were unable to stay there due to the hygienic fear - this property should be looked into as it's wholey unacceptable to stay on this app.

Unacceptable conditions – potential health hazard – no refund or response from hotel

We checked into this hotel on April 13th and were forced to leave within 10 minutes due to the unbearable, unhygienic, and unacceptable condition of the room and building. The entire hotel smelled like fish, the hallway was extremely dirty and appeared to have urine stains, and the room was in a disgusting and outdated state. The mattress was heavily stained with brown marks that looked like blood, as well as small black dots, potentially indicating parasites like fleas or bedbugs. The whole room smelled awful and was filthy. Out of concern for our health, we immediately checked out and booked another hotel at our own expense. We returned the key as instructed by placing it in the key box. We contacted the hotel and Booking multiple times, but received no helpful reply and our money back. We understand when a hotel is outdated – but this was a serious health concern and absolutely unacceptable. 👉Do not book this hotel! I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone.

Convenient stay for us, slightly away from the city

Easy check in, good sized clean room, convenient for us. Duvet wasn't big enough, it was too short which left our feet uncovered. No coffee machine. We were on the top floor, using the shower was difficult due to it being positioned beside the slope of the roof. There was nobody about to say anything about this too.

Convenient and fit for purpose

Its a short walk to tram stops and not too far from the center. The apartment was very clean, and perfect for a couple of nights where you spend most days outside. The bed was comfy. Nice to have a working lift. When I had to contact the host via phone they were very helpful.

The check in was confusing. I couldn’t get my keys using the code so I had to call the property. Turns out I was on the wrong entrance in a building in front where we thought we had to go. They should have different profiles for the different addresses so it doesn’t happen, because both have different addresses. You only realize this upon checking the check-in message. The pillows could do with an upgrade but nothing major.

It was clean

Since I travel un winter,heating is very low on property and explanations are how is about central sistem,and u can do anything about it,even they no offer extra blaket to make your stay confortable. Other think what I hate is that Tv not working no signal,no battery in remont control,and no technisian who can come to fix it cuz there is nobody during the weekend. And I strictly choose room with tv working,I need a noice cuz Im claustrofobic. Any noise what u get is from loud neighbers what fighting on the floor constantly. If u think that u will rest ar this property,just try to avoid this posibility.

I coudn't got in the Hotel, my telefon was out of charge, and there was no way to ring or contact the host. Then they told me than thay war going to refound me but they didn't!!! I wrote them and they did not answer!

Nothing at all!

I didn’t like the cleanliness of the room. The floor was dirty, the bath was broken, there was no hair shampoo, or soap to wash hands. There were no other bed sheets and blankets. There was no hanger for the clothes in the wardrobe. The wi-fi worked poorly. The VC was dirty with blood stains! Horrible experience, not worth a penny!
