Urban Oasis - Green attic in Iconic Langstrasse

The unit is very cute and has a lot of character. It was very clean. It was in a location that was easy to get around to those things we wanted to see. It is very unique and cozy and the host was very responsive.

There is no air-conditioning, which we were aware of when we arrived, but also no fans during a heat wave. The host did go out and purchase them for the second night, but they were small and cheap and did not provide nearly enough air to cool the room. And it barely blew across two people on a bed. My son ended up sleeping on the floor for the two nights that we were there because he was too hot on the bed. Also, the beds are smaller than I was expecting, and not really suitable for two grown adults, especially when it’s hot. I’m sure during a cooler season this apartment is perfect but is definitely not the place to be in a heat wave. It’s on the third floor in an attic and it just traps hot air.

The Apartments is lovely. Amenities great, big bathroom with washer-dryer, big tub, dishwaser, well stocked with glasses, cuttlery and so. The fridge is stocked withprice tagged wine and champage. The proprietor is very easy to get in contact with. It was very very hot when we stayed but there were two fans set up so that we could have them face the beds, and that made the difference from a pleasant night to one sweltering

We travel with a car, and would have liked suggestions on parking. Street parking, as was suggested isn’t doable here, but we found a parking garage at Helvetica platz with really spacious parking. We also didn’t like the area just outside on Langenstrasse were business with all the working girls made us a bit unconfortable. We don’t agree with prostitution.

Det var värmebölja när vi var där, det var ca 35 grader i lägenheten på natten trotts öppna fönster och fläktar, vilket gjorde det svårt att sova. Värden bjöd på glass, vilket var en fin gest.
