VISIONAPARTMENTS Rotachstrasse - self check-in

The room was equipped with basic neccessities. We even cooked some meals during our stay, as a COOP supermarket was located just around the corner. Location was really great! We could take a 20 minute walk to the main train station or take the tram which was about 3 stops away.

Unfortunately, the apartment was not air-conditioned, and we went during the summer/heat-wave period. There was only 1 fan and it wasn't strong enough to cool us down.

There was no any spices, nothing and no dishwasher also

Small but clean and extremely well equipped with everything you need: comfortable bed, coffee machine with real coffee, microwave, dishes, accessories, iron machine and table, wardrobe fitted in the kitchen furniture (that was a nice surprise), foldable luggage support, best toiletries I ever used offered for granted, hairdryer, etc. I was surprised that, in such a small place, they managed to arrange it so properly that you actually can have everything you need and still be able to walk and have enough space. Also, there was a tower fan that made it possible for me to sleep during the hottest days in Swiss (38 degrees). The location is only minutes to walk to public transport (both buss, tram and trains) which makes it very accessible. Also the city center is doable by foot. For sure I would come back if I ever need a place to sit in Zurich.

One small suggestion: when taking a shower, it may be best to avoid using the showerhead holder, as it can cause water to splash outside the shower area and onto the bathroom floor. Since the shower has curtains rather than a fully enclosed cabin, having a floor squeegee or mop available would be very helpful for drying the floor after use. Otherwise, guests may need to use one of the towels to soak up the water.

The apartment was in an excellent location, literally next to a tram stop meaning that all parts of Zurich were easily reached using the excellent public transport system. Had everything else been ok with the apartment the layout and facilities would have been ideal.

The apartment was in a poor state of repair, the handle was loose on the fridge door as was the bracket holding up the window blinds, meaning that we were afraid to touch them the entire stay. The bedside table was broken and slanted and so couldn't be used for anything like cups. The online booking system fails if you book two apartments in one booking only allowing us initially to input two identity documents out of three. on checking with their help desk we were told everything was ok to find we had to input a third document on arrival at the building and before we could access the second room.
