Perfect Palce to Stay in Zurcih

Everything. Location, the whole apartment is spacious of 3 family members. Accessible to main train station, supermarkets are everywhere. Close to old town. Amenities are perfect. Most of all, the river view by the window is perfect. Easy self check in and check out.

Apartment is only 10 minutes from bus and train stations and 2 minutes to the river. There are lots of shops and restaurants on the road and was in the heart of tourist area. This could be noisy but we stayed in winter so only a few people around so wasn’t a problem at all. Hosts were very quick with correspondence. Pleased with cost v location compared to other places we looked at.

Almost became homeless in a foriegn country

That fact that it was near town centre.

Not worth the money a, we had a likage under the sink, reported to the owner who sent somebody to repair, didnt bring any tool with him but said he sorted it out and there will be no more lickage. In the night my friend went to the toilet, only to slid and hurt her knee as the sink was licking again. We contacted the management who insistef on sending somebody, bur we refused as we had our personal items unsecured. We asked them to move us to another accomodation or and refund the remainung days money. They said they will get nack to us, when they got back they told us they coundnt find anywhere yo move us thy will refund the remaining days money so we can get somewhere by ourself, but we have confirm by 4pm that we will be moving our by 11am the following day. We did confirm and because we were travelling to Milan that monrning, we checked our that morning at 5am instead of 11am , but while on our day trip, we recieved an email saying that they cant refund us any money as there was no lickage as they sent someboby to check and they was no water on the floor and they advised that they have already given the accomodation to somebody else. There was a back and forth the whole of our trip, demanding gor out money or accomodation which really riuned our holiday as at one pount we were almost strandered in a foreign country. After a long convasation with them they aggreed to give us back the appartment which we agreed but we didnt move back as we had already secured ourself another place to stay as we couldnt rely on them. We later called them on our way to the airport to let them know that we didnt move back and their keys were were they had left them and they confirmed saying thank you the place was clean and tidy,we decided not to say aword to them so we dont spoil our journey back, very dissapointing few days of our holiday and the fact that they thought we were lying about my friend slidding and hurting her knee..

Awesome place! We loved it.

The location was great and the apartment was nice and clean. We were on the 4th floor facing the water and we did not smell the restaurant smells until we got to the first floor.

The bed was a bit hard and the shower stall was not fully covered so it’s tough to contain the water. Minor issues. We loved the place!

Overall accommodation was pleasant and well located. Just a few items were a let down.

Location of the property was great and the overall presentation was just okay. Rental price was very competitive given other properties in the old town are much higher.

Shower was very small and lacked a screen. There was also a very unpleasant odour emanating throughout the whole building. Lift access from 1st floor only so need to drag luggage up a flight of stairs.

The location was fantastic - a great variety of restaurants and shopping. The COOP was a short walk away. There was no need to use public transportation. The apartment was ideal for two people. We appreciated having the clothes dryer too!

The views were absolutely amazing from the apartment. The property has everything you need from pans, to cutlery, coffee machine etc. It comes with everything you need. Also there is a lift which was very convenient since our apartment was the 5th floor. A great apartment overall!

Overall, the location is fantastic, but a few comfort and maintenance issues affected our stay.

The location is great—just a 6-10 minute walk from Zurich central station, which is super convenient if you’re traveling between cities by train. The apartments are equipped with basic laundry and kitchen facilities, which is handy.

We booked for five adults and ended up with two separate apartments at different floors, which wasn’t ideal for us. The unit on the third floor faces the street and can get pretty noisy at night. There were only two fans available, and that really wasn’t enough for the heat wave during the day, so we often felt uncomfortable and sweaty—even when sleeping. The exhaust fan in the bathroom on the fifth floor didn’t work, but the property team responded quickly, offered help, and arranged for a technician; since we had two bathrooms, we just used the other one. Although washer and dryer are provided, we noticed that when we emptied out the water tray so the dryer could work better, it was extremely dirty and had a strong smell, which suggests cleaning could be improved.

Great location; Bathroom needs more space/realigning.

Location of the property in the old town part of Zurich is spot on. It’s really easy to miss the building because the address in booking.com takes to a different location when put in google maps. The location is slightly before where google shows. The living/bedroom/kitchen area are large.

Bathroom was tiny and very cramped. The shower area was built in a corner with the washer/dryer beside it. The in and out of the shower was hazardous because of the lack of space. The trash can in bathroom had a broken lid, so the pedestal didn’t work. The biggest pet peeve.. we were expected to get our own washer pods/liquids.. which is a bit ridiculous given how far we were traveling from. One of the main reasons we booked this rental was because it offered washer/dryer( no dishwasher, not a problem for us). We rented a similar place in Paris and they were thoughtful enough to provide 2/3 pods, just enough . The other thing to consider, since the room overlooks the street below, if you keep your windows open, as we did due to extensive heat, you will inhale a lot of cigarette smoke.

Great location at an affordable price

Great location for an affordable price. Kitchen complete with appliances, perfectly adequate to make simple meals. Washer & dryer in the unit itself, so exclusive for your own use.

Unit facing windows of the opposite building, and there were no sheer curtains to maintain some privacy while getting some natural light in. If you can, splurge on the river-view room, it's definitely worth it :) Outdated instructions on where to throw out the garbage (the shop mentioned in the instructions is no longer there). Can only contact the host via phone call (as opposed to whatsapp call) if you want immediate solution, so will incur international rates if you are not using local sim. (note - when contacted, host was responsive and issues resolved)

Clean and good location but bad sleeping experience

The place was clean and the utilities worked. The location is amazing. The key allocation and check in went smoothly and exactly as described. The place is as old as one would expect something with such a price to be.

The biggest two issues, and why I'm giving the relatively low rating, are: 1- The sofa couch is REALLY uncomfortable. The pellows are not comfortable also. Saying that the apartment can accommodate 3 people and counting the couch as a bed is an overstretch, to say the least. 2- The street is REALLY noisy over the weekend until early in the morning (like 6 am), and the sound isolation is nonexistent. Long story short, don't expect to get a decent or goodnight sleep.

It was so nice , way over our expectations. Lovely staff, not on your face but so helpful.

Simple, Charm, Clean and homely. 5 minutes walk to station and town center. From our room we could only see the nature , mountain range and birds chirping . All green. Front of the Hotel you can see snow capped mountains peaks even in July hot summer.

A basic apartment in a great location.

The location of this property was perfect.

There was no air conditioning for cooling. We found it very hot and uncomfortable and had difficulty sleeping unfortunately. It was too noisy outside in the street to be able to leave the windows open. The shower cubicle was very small with only a shower curtain.

A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

The central location

the room smelled horrible! It smelled like fried food because it was above a fried food place and all the bad smells were coming in through the window and the bathroom vent. There were cobwebs on the walls and hair in the bathroom. The sheets for the sofa bed did not smell clean, they were thrown on a shelf and the pillow crushed in a box under the sofa along with the pillowcases.

Location

Somebody tried to enter the apartment with a key at 7:20 am while we were sleeping wee we’re so scared we got up and left. Property said they looked into it all was in order? We got a fright and wouldn’t recommend this place to stay . It is also above a fried chicken shop which is misleading
