A complete disaster

Absolutely nothing

Warning - Danger! This place is a filthy dump and a health hazard. Mold, smoke, dirty laundry - it’s unbelievable. The apartment is a rundown, disgusting hole that no one should ever step into. The bedding was dirty and reeked of smoke, the towels had fecal stains, there was mold on the walls, dirty underwear behind the radiator, uncleaned fixtures, and a toilet that hadn’t been flushed or cleaned. You truly can’t imagine the disaster. I will also contact other platforms where this accommodation is listed to have it taken down. The hosts don’t respond to anything and leave you completely on your own. If you want to wake up smelling like smoke with mold in your lungs - go ahead and book. Otherwise, stay far away.

Location was ideal a few minutes walk from main train station and easy walking distance to Zurich city centre.

There were 3 of us travelling, my son, a friend and me, so we specifically booked for 3 people, and was told there was a double bed and a futon. When we got there it was one small room only, plus bathroom, and the futon was a piece of foam about 1”/25mm thick to lay directly on the floor! NOT what we were expecting! Also The “spare” blanket was disgustingly filthy, as per attached photo.

Great location, but be prepared for stairs

The apartment is very well located, very close to the Zurich HB train station and on a very busy, scenic street with puente of restaurants and shops.

Some aspects of the accommodation could be better clarified in the advertisement, including: 1. The third bed is described as a futon in the ad, but it's actually a very thin mattress that needs to be placed on the floor to use. 2. Although it's mentioned in the ad, the apartment is very strict with its schedule and charges for any extras, such as leaving luggage for a few hours or early check-in/ late check-out, even for a short period. It's more inflexible than other accommodations we've stayed at. 3. There is indeed no elevator, and guests need to climb three foors of stairs, which can be exhausting. I suggest considering this for future guests. Lastly, few towels were provided, only one per person. The bedclothes could also be improved. The apartment was clean, but the common areas of the building were not.

I want to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. This apartment fell short of our expectations in several key areas, primarily due to a very strict policy on fees and a lack of basic amenities. Be aware that the listed check-in (4 PM) and check-out (10 AM) times are less flexible than most. More importantly, nearly every request for a concession comes with an additional charge. We were quoted fees for: · An early check-in · A late check-out · Even for simply leaving our luggage for a short while The apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which is something to consider if you have heavy luggage. Furthermore, several items you might expect in a serviced apartment were not provided. While the listing didn't promise them, their absence was a significant inconvenience: · In the Kitchen: No microwave or oven. · In the Unit: No WiFi, no TV, and no toiletries (shampoo, etc.). · In the Bathroom: No floor mat. I would strongly recommend the host clearly list what is not provided to manage future guest expectations. Upon settling in, we encountered several functional issues: · The futon bed had visible stains. · The bedding provided was too small to properly cover the futon. · The retractable blinds were broken, affecting privacy. · The kitchen hood light did not work, making the cooking area quite dark. Conclusion: While the location might be convenient, the combination of extra fees, missing basics, and maintenance issues made our stay less comfortable than we had hoped. I would advise future guests to carefully review what is included and confirm the state of the apartment with the host before booking.

Great location, that's all.

Close to the Train station (around 10 minutes) Spacious room. If you're a party person or night owl, and you just wanna have a room to get by the night at an affordable price, this is the room for you. I don't think this is a bad thing but, the music is REALLY loud!!! 😆 comes directly from the bar down stairs. I stayed on the second floor, I shut every single window, wore noise cancelling headphones, covered with a pillow, and I still hear the music😂 Like I said, if you're just looking for a room to get by the night, not looking for good rest, this is a great deal 😆 Plenty of restaurants and bars around.

The door lock is broken! The bed is dirty, there are strong smells in the toilet. I would warn safety concerns for female solo travellers who want to stay for a few days. I only stay for a night and go out to get my dinner at 6pm once, there were so many weirdos around at that time. Although, nothing bad happened but still my concern 😕

This is a trap

Everything. The credit card was charged long before the stay, even the city tax was needed to be paid, to receive check-in instructions. I am shocked at the good ratings. This is by far the worst stay I have ever had. No elevators, not mentioned in the hotel info. Near noisy bars, which you can hear them until 2:00 a.m. renovations in the building, obstructions in the corridors. Hairs on the mattress and the toilet. I had to cover my sleeping portion with my clothes before lying down. The one towel had stains. Sent a message to the owner immediately after seeing the status of the building and room, explaining the issues, and said would contact the cleaning crew. Later said, they had confirmed that the room was cleaned. Asked for photos, I sent them. Nothing happened. I asked for a refund, so I could leave and stay in another hotel. No response. As it was already late and there was no guarantee of a refund, I had to stay. 340 CAD dollar per night room was a scam. I could also hear the loud guest above me speaking on the phone at 3:00 a.m for more than 30 min. I just hope I don't catch any diseases.

Close to everything but very basic.

Location was the best of this accommodation, by far.

The futon bed was not at all what we expected as it was just a thin mattress. The add does not mention either the lack of elevator. While it is good the variety of restaurants and bars around, it was also a little noisy during the night. Booking also needs to manage better about how to pay the city tax. We did not get the lock code until I had sent several times the confirmation to the owner which was inconvenient and not as easy as in other destinations.

Te hace el apaño pero...

La ubicación y la calefacción son lo único destacable

No es un apartamento, es una habitación con baño. No tiene microondas, no tiene cepillo ni recogedor, no estaba limpio del todo, en las esquinas se notaba que habia polvo, cosa que fue en aumento con los días. Nunca vino nadie a reponer nada, ni papel ni nada. Hay dos formas de gestionar estos sitios: o dejas los medios para que el huesped sea autonomo, dandole lo necesario o tu te encargas de reponer las cosas. En este caso ni lo uno ni lo otro. Como digo no hay cepillo ni recogedor para barrer, habia una mopa. No dejaron bolsas de la basura, solo la del cubo y tras 8 dias ya tuvimos que pelearnos para que cupiera toda. No habia sartenes, solo 3 ollas, El colchón era muy blando y solo habia un nórdico pequeño que no daba para toda la cama, una funda de nordico con un relleno minúsculo y un relleno mas suelto, la unica sabana que tenia la cama era la bajera. Frio no se pasa porque la calefacción esta todo el dia pero en mi humilde opinión creo que microondas, cepillo, recogedor y mas bolsas de basura serian importantes. Hemos tenido que comprar papel de cocina y claro, dejarlo alli porque obviamente sobró, apenas habia perchas. En resumen a la habitación le faltan microondas, para poder limpiar, mas perchas, utensilios para poder cocinar allí y demás Yo entiendo que por el precio que se paga no te vayan a limpiar ni nada, pero entonces te tienen que dar la oportunidad de ser autosuficiente sin tener que comprar tu todo.

Petit, car i amb un matalàs fastigós

Està ben situat.

El que a l'anunci deien que era un "futton" era un matalàs prim i brut, amb taques, que feia fàstic, i que s'havia de posar a terra, amb el que no quedava lloc ni per passar. Érem 3 i només hi havia 2 flaçades primes. En vam demanar una altra i ens van dir que no. No hi havia microones i l'equipament era molt just. No té ascensor i és un tercer!

واجهت مشكلة في الانترنت ، و القابس الكهربائي ( على النظام السويسري المختلف ) ، حيث اضطررت الى شراء محول ب 12 فرنك فرنسي حتى أتمكن من شحن هاتفي و تركتها في الشقة ، لكن كل ذلك لم يزعجني و تفهمت الأمر
