A Completely Disappointing Stay Filled With Unresolved Issues and Misleading Charges
Location
Our stay at this property has been extremely disappointing, especially considering the premium price we paid. Several fundamental issues have made our experience uncomfortable, frustrating, and frankly unacceptable:
- Heating Issue: The room heater did not work, leaving the room unbearably cold. Despite multiple messages, the issue was never resolved, and we spent two nights shivering.
- Inadequate Bedding: The blankets provided are single-sized, very small, and far too thin for the cold conditions. Combined with the lack of proper heating, this made the stay extremely uncomfortable. Every other hotel we stayed at in Switzerland, France, and Italy offered far better heating and appropriate bedding.
- Bathroom Problems:
- The toilet is extremely cramped, positioned right next to an oil heater with barely any space to sit properly.
- Only one toilet roll was provided for a two‑night stay.
- The apartment had an unpleasant smell both inside and outside.
- No basic toiletries like shower gel or shampoo were supplied.
- Poor Room Amenities:
- The tea kettle is rusty and doesn’t fit the plug properly.
- There is no toaster.
- The sofa bed was dirty.
- Access Issues: When we returned around 7 pm, the main entrance door was locked, and we were unable to enter until someone happened to walk by and help us. This raises serious concerns about accessibility and guest safety.
- Lack of Proper Response: Instead of addressing our concerns, we received generic, copy‑paste replies that ignored the issues we clearly outlined. Nothing has been resolved, and it is unacceptable to be told we are “having a great time” when our messages clearly state otherwise.
- Misleading Pricing & No Internet: This place feels like a scam. We were sent link to pay additional “city taxes,” with no clear explanation. Although they don’t provide any travel pass in the city for that. Although it was provided in other hotels in different locations in Switzerland. There is POOR INTERNET at this place.

Basic accomodation that met my requirements and expectations apart from having 3 unsuccessful attempts by host to provide a wifi internet connection.
The location of the apartment was changed from what Booking.com had advised. I did not receive information about self check-in information in a timely fashion. This caused considerable inconvenience for me after travelling internationally & continuously for 48 hours. This was only resolved after about 3 hours, with considerable help from sales people in a shop adjacent to the apartment on my B.com information. I paid CHF10 for an early drop-off of my bags, but by the time the location of my actual accommodation was sorted out, it was well past the hosts earliest self check-in time. My subsequent contacts with the host were most unsatisfactory and suggest the need for their close attention to their procedures and customer relations.
What I now request is a refund of my early drop bags / check-in fee of CHF10 and a token refund of CHF40 for no Internet WiFi.

Terrible experience. The place has no television, and the internet modem does not work at all, even when turned on. I had no internet access during my two days at the accommodation. The pillow is very bad.

We got changed to a new place that’s not very clean but acceptable given the good location.
Host changed our reservation the day of the stay, since original place was for some reason not available. But new place is bigger - so not too bad.

I always try to look at positive aspect about property/ hotel room. Having said that I couldnt with this one,
First , this property's address is not whats advertised (two blocks away).
2nd, The real photos are hidden amongst photos of another property so very misleading.
3rd, this is a small , old , unclean facility. The floors had hair tufts, I am pretty sure the bed sheets were not changed. The bed/ pillows were old and uncomfortable. The bathroom was rusty. They do not have shampoo ( they had hand wash thankfully).
I asked the property manager to at least give us an extra blanket and whilst they communicated promptly , they ignored the request twice.
I have been using booking , expedia and multiple other platform and have never encountered such a sham before.
This place (even with its location) is NOT worth the money.
You should consider something 10 to 20 CHF more expensive but will be way worth the money.

Suitable for a short tourist stay.
Good location - a 15-minute walk from Zürich HB and the same distance from the city center.
Relatively comfortable apartment on the 5th floor, no problem elevator, large terrace, decent blinds, quiet for one of the city's main streets (church bells finish their toll at 10:00 PM), a Coop across the street, tram stop right next door.
Kitchenette ok.
Cons:
Minimal bathroom, lacking even a rag to wipe the spilled floor.
Despite the fan, it can get hot on sunny days, or cold on cold days.

This place is a scam. Be careful while booking, original price will show much less but the taxes will be 3 -4 times more than the price. Also once you have paid that, they will send you another link to pay for ‘city taxes’. Not sure what is. There is NO INTERNET at this place. Also if the neighbors cough you will hear that, you will hear people walking. I won’t recommend this place at any cost

Bed sheet, pillows were kept in the room like they got it from street and kept in the room, Wi-Fi was worse, even they didn’t change it after I complained, they stopped communicating with me and they respond of my msg after one week, their guest manager was manner less , I have photo of their bed etc and all messages are saved for records if needed can be provided , I hve shared some photos of the room

The photos are not all accurate and the host provided false information: We booked for three adults and were told there would be three sets of bedding but there were only two beddings. Plus the space lacks cleanliness.

O banheiro é desagradável mas é um bom apartamento para dormir e está bem localizado
A localização é boa, tem supermercados perto, McDonald’s, trem, restaurantes, etc. é um flat completo, com cozinha mas não tem lavanderia.
Ao tomar banho, o banheiro fica todo encharcado pois o box é fechado apenas por uma cortina, fora do box não tem ralo para escoar a água, portanto o banheiro fica molhado durante toda a estadia. Solicitei toalhas de chão para poder secar, me prometeram mas não me entregaram. Não me hospedaria novamente se isso não for resolvido, além do risco de escorregar, era muito desagradável toda as vezes que fosse usar o banheiro, ter que molhar os pés e sair pela casa toda com os pés molhados.
Em frente em uma igreja que a cada 15 minutos toca o sino, isso nos incomodou um pouco, mas não foi um grande problema. O intervalo entre o check in e o check out é muito longo, quando reservei não observei essa informação ou foi omitida. Mas fui pego de surpresa quando fui informado que apenas as 4pm poderia acessar o flat, o check out às 10am.

Sinceramente ho trovato l’appartamento ( Monolocale Queen Deluxe) molto sporco, polvere, macchie e peli in giro.
Una volta prenotato e scelto l’appartamento, mi é stato comunicato che si trovava in un altra via.
Il giorno del check in ti comunicano che non danno bagnoschiuma e shampoo ( non era un problema per me, ma avrei preferito saperlo prima).
C’era a disposizione una piccola cucina, con il flacone del detersivo per i piatti vuoto..
Personalmente il letto e i cuscini li ho trovati scomodi.
Sicuramente sarebbero molto utili tende e tappeto per il bagno.
Non sono solita fare recensioni negative, ma scrivo tutto ciò per consigliare di investire un po’ più sull’appartamento perché ha davvero un bel potenziale
