Unique destination in itself

This hotel is a very cool experience, it’s an adventure in itself as you can explore all the different areas. There’s a kettle, tea bags and coffee machine at the bar in the foyer to make yourself tea/coffee any time you need, and multiple washing machines and dryers that are free to use on level 1. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spacious with a good shower. There was also a bar fridge in the room. There’s lots of lovely areas to hang out on the ground floor, including a pool table and board games with views of the mountains. There’s also kids club area with toys and a ball pit. Although no staff physically present, any time I had questions they were quick to respond on WhatsApp.

The curtains could have been thicker to block the light better.

Beautiful location with a stunning view from the balcony. Although an hour away from Chur, it was worth the additional travel. Great price, although the chair lifts weren’t operational yet and we did not receive an Arosa pass. Loved the decades music (1920s) when we arrived, but they stopped playing it.

We wanted hot water, but the self serve coffee and tea bar is no longer offered. It would have made a difference to have an electric tea kettle available. The sleeper bed is really not usable for an adult. My 31 year old son ended up sleeping on the floor.

Now this is vintage!

Very beautiful vintage hotel. Long mountain road to the town. Something similar with the Overlook Hotel where Jack stayed with his family. Hotel was clean and the presidential suite was luxurious and had very nice view and still with a low price. The town of Arosa seemed quite dead off season.

No breakfast. (Also no staff, but this was not a problem as there were good instructions).

fresh, uncomplicated, clean and cheap

formally a rather outdated 5* hotel and now a fresh & cozy pop-up hotel offering a fresh look, a lot of space for playing games, working or just having a read, coffee & tea cooker, a 24/7 chat with staff and the unchanged rooms of the former 5* hotel but at a low price! the location is great.

Super gerne wieder

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem grossen Angebot zum Frühstücken. Das Japanische Restaurant OVIO im Hotel war der Hammer.

Das ein Checken im Parkplatz war sehr mühsam. Dann gingen wir in die Tiefgarage im Brüggli 50m entfernt und zahlten nur 18.-- Franken im Tag und nicht 25.--

Einiges zu optimieren (das kann KI noch nicht)

Suite, Lage und Frühstück waren sehr gut. Der Roomboy hilfreich.

Das KI gestützte Check-in ist VW ausbaufähig. Gab repetitiv keinen und dann den falschen Code an. Der Roomboy half. Das Grosse Bett ist mit bloss zwei flachen Kissen Mager ausgestattet. Die Klos halten in den geschlossenen Räumen Gerüche zu lange. Ein Duftspray tat not. Dass die Kaffeebar mit Aschenbecher ausgerüstet war und ein Rottweiler im Frühstücksraum akzeptiert war, befremdete mich.

KI-Consierge ist zweckmässig, ich hätte aber lieber jemanden an der Reception. Mein anfangs zugewiesenes Zimmer war nicht bezugsbereit, habe dann aber innert nützlicher Frist ein neues zugewiesen erhalten - mit Upgrade auf ein Doppelzimmer.

Der Schlüsselcode für den Zimmerschlüssel wurde in der Check-in-Bestätigung vergessen bzw. nicht angegeben. Weswegen ich spätabends dann mit einem Bot über den Chat das Problem lösen musste – SEHR NERVIG. Es ist mir klar, dass um Mitternacht kein menschlicher Administrator mehr erreichbar ist. Entsprechend generisch waren die Antworten im Chat, was meine Laune auch nicht grad verbesserte.

Der Aufenthalt in einem ehemaligen Luxushotel ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Das Flair der Vergangenheit ist immer noch da! Top Lage und sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer. Keine offensichtlichen Spuren der Zeit, sondern immer noch gepflegt und gediegen!

Der Chat mit der KI ist gewöhnungsbedürftig und hat seine Grenzen. Probleme beim inklusiven Frühstück und der Gästekarte würde man lieber mit Personal aus Fleisch und Blut vor Ort besprechen…😉 Ansonsten hat der Self Check-in gut funktioniert. Fehlender Hinweis bei der Buchung, dass das Frühstück im benachbarten Hotel serviert wird. Dieses ist allerdings sehr gut und reichhaltig! 😋

L'hôtel a une décoration incroyable. La réservation se fait simplement en autonomie, comme le check-in, cependant du personnel est disponible via WhatsApp. Grâce à Aïcha, nous avons pu prolonger notre séjour dans la même chambre facilement.

Das Frühstück vis-a vis im Restaurant Hold war ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Das Zimmer ist gross und ruhig.

Das Bett war unterirdisch schlecht; richtig weichund durchgehangen! Geht so gar nicht. Eine Parkplatz-Gebühr von Fr. 25.- pro Tag ist jenseits und total überteuert!

Das Zusätzliche Bett ist gefährlich für Kinder, Lieber die Mattraze auf den Boden legen. Und das heftigste ist 25fr. Für den Parkplatz vor dem Hotel Bezahlen Komplizierz über eine App. Ich war müde und habe dann noch das Falsche schild gescannt und musste 2Fr. Bezahlen für 15 min danach hatt mir der Chat alles erklärt und musste nochmal aufladen um über nacht dort uu bleiben.

Schönes Hotel, aber miserabler check-in Prozess

Das Zimmer ist sehr schön und sauber, das Hotel nobel. Vom Moment des Eintritts ins Zimmer war alles in Ordnung.

Es handelt sich um ein Konzept mit online-check-in ohne Personal. Im ganzen (riesigen, luxuriösen) Hotelkomplex war niemand. So weit so gut: nun hat aber der online check-in Prozess nicht funktioniert. Es gab dann noch eine chat-Funktion, auch diese funktionierte nur schleppend und nur immer auf Nachdruck hin. Bevor ich das Zimmer bezogen habe hatte ich schon viele Stunden Ärger.

Cooles Hotel mit Kegelbahn, super Lage und toller Ausblick.

Die Lage ist super, die Aussicht vom Balkon unbezahlbar. Das Hotel hat einen Charme für sich. Wir genossen die Kegelbahn, das Billiard und die Terrasse. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Die Bergbahn ist gleich in der Nähe und der Bus vor der Türe. Das Hotel ist zwar ohne Personal, aber trotzdem sehr unkompliziert und einfacher Check In per Telefon. Wir sind begeistert!
