Welcoming cosy stay, great food

Amazing hotel, friendly team , fantastic views, Room was great, food was superb.

From the moment we arrived for a 4 night stay the team were fantastic. They spoke English, were welcoming and very helpful. Food was amazing, the first evening we ate at the hotel and were treated to a superb multi course meal. We had already decided to eat out the other evenings to experience more of Arosa but we would have rather have eaten at the hotel! Loved the food there. Breakfast was just as good. The room was great, I had a balcony that overlooked the valley. Amazing waking up to the cows bells chiming on the opposite side of the valley. Despite the heat the room was cool no air con required. Would definitely stay in this hotel again. we had such a good experience here before moving on to Davos.

Exceptional from start to finish.

The service we received at Hotel Stoffel was utterly fantastic. The staff are attentive, caring, hospitable, and make an effort to give you the best stay. The views of the mountains around the hotel are spectacular. Don’t miss the included breakfast, as it’s very good. The rooms are all you need. I would recommend you have dinner on at least one night in the hotel. The food and drink we had was utterly superb, and we had a wonderful evening. If ever we return to Arosa, we’ll be staying at Hotel Stoffel!

Fantastic chalet to stay with excellent breakfast and breathtaking views!

The staffs were friendly. The Parking was just front of the building. Excellent breakfast. Amazing views. We defenitely would like to stay here again!

Mountain perfection.

Absolutely unique. An all stone and wood traditional Swiss mountain chalet, with stunning views and sensational food. Perfect for walkers, mountain bikers, visits to the bear sanctuary (the Stoffel gives you a free cable car pass) or anyone in need of fresh air and a pause from life in the valleys below.

Location and staff of the property. Also very friendly staff. we had dinner one night. The menu offer was limited but quality of the food was superb. Not cheap but fair enough. Breakfast selection was also good.

Excellent ambience and mountain location

The hotel interior reflected that the original owner had a taste for luxury. Lots of wood giving it a mountain flavor. Food was very tasty.

Magical views at a fabulous hotel!

Hotel Stoffel is just spectacular! The location is unbeatable - outside the main drag, but walkable or easy (free) bus "downtown." Right around the corner from the cable cars to amazing hikes and the gorgeous church! Loved it!

Most uncomfortable beds and pillows of the trip. Would have loved a pillow that had actual shape!

We loved our stay and are already planning our return.

Everything! The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. Huge thank you to Christoph and Marcus who were so kind and especially to Christoph who patiently allowed me to practise my German on him! A special mention also for the chef as the quality of the food was outstanding. We had the set, four course menu each evening and couldn’t fault it. My husband particularly enjoyed Marcus’ suggestion of an “adventure plate” of cheese. Breakfast was also fresh and delicious with many home-made touches. On top of all this, the location is stunning, with easy links to the centre of the town and short walk to the Hornli- express cable car and mountain pathways.

A tiny point would be my personal preference for larger bath towels.

A hotel that is a home from home and a perfect place for a ski holiday

There are hotels you stay in and that is the norm. The Stoffel is much more than that, it is your home for the duration of your stay. The owners and managers of the hotel make everything perfect for you, from the cleanliness of the rooms, to the excellence of the food to the help they give you for every need. Booking another restaurant? Done. Booking a spa? Done. Telling you how to get to the piste in under a minute? Done (they don't tell you this is more or less a ski in ski out hotel on the Web site). Having your boots warm and ready to go every morning? Done. No wonder so many people come back here.

It would be nice to have a sauna in the hotel and perhaps tea and cakes in the afternoon.
