We had a great time. The location wins.

Breakfast was super, a varied choice of food. Friendly staff. Modern fitness. The best location of all. Unlimited possiblities for skiing. Sled rental and the procximity of the sledding track. Good possibilities for hiking. Exclusive restaurant Golfhuus, located nearby belongs to the hotel. At the hotel restaurant very tasty smoked salmon, the speciality of the chef. Also a very good cheese shop near by.

The appearance of the rooms do not correspond to photos on booking, website. Although the rooms are comfortable and clean, the pictures give a different impression.

- Clean - Bathroom is big - Location is near the ski - Parking in front of the hotel

- Curtain is too thin and cannot block the sunshine if you want to wake up late - not much choice in breakfast - the nearby ski store opens at 15:00 in the afternoon which means it’s not possible to rent the ski equipment and directly to ski in the early afternoon. The only possible way is to drive to the center to rent and ski.

Sunny side of Arosa

Wonderfully located, slightly elevated above the village of Arosa. From the south facing balconies, the view is simply fantastic. The air is fresh as it can be and the nights are totally silent. We spent several days mountainbiking and enjoyed the hotel's big bike storage facility and that they provide a cleaning station. Several marked trails cross the hotel's location, so you get your breakfast, jump on your bike and there you go. Recommandable.

The evening menu of the restaurant didn't meet my families and my own expectation and/or taste. The kids menu seems to be good, the default option is to have the 4 to 6 dishes menu. I can't say anything about those since we ate à la carte, there the veggie options are very limited. The food itself tasted fresh and well prepared and presented, though.

Great location for nature lovers!

Location was over the top gorgeous! Less than a five minute drive into town if you needed anything. Kind and caring staff. Very accommodating to us and the dog.

I’m a decorator and my perspective may be a bit picky but every chair we sat in at breakfast or dinner had a stain on it. Either some deep upholstery clean on all the chairs or new upholstery. The carpet in the common areas dated the area.

The location and views are stunning! The rooms are vary spacious, comfortable beds, lovely showers, also has a mini fridge!

No coffee maker in the room. The front desk staff happily gave us one each morning if asked, only to be charged unexpectedly for them at checkout. The playroom needs better lighting.

Sehr zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal. Besonders die Réception funktioniert tadellos . Sie haben mir auf Verlangen eine Kaffeemaschine aufs Zimmer gestellt. Ebenfalls wurde ich top beraten ,was meine Tretmens betreffend . Sehr gute Massagen .

Leider werden wir Raucher immer vergessen . Schade das die Lounge erst ab 20:00 für Raucher zugänglich ist.

Accueil chaleureux, confort, beauté, dépaysement, et dégustation m'ont fait du bien.

Le personnel de l'hotel est d'une gentillesse extrême. Le lieu est enchanteur. Les repas sont délicieux, sauf une fois un rien trop gras ! Hof Maran est une perle d'Arosa où je compte bien revenir. J'ai raremment passé de vacances aussi dépaysantes et reposantes. Merci au personnel de l'hotel, Alexandra, Anna, Camillia, Petr et les autres ! Mon épouse était enchantée ! Vielen lieben Dank und bis bald !

Nytt område för oss som vi gillade. Det blir en komb av golf och berg. Bra rum i storlek. Bra badrum. Att bo på 1800 meter på en golfbana är magiskt.

Zu lang vernachlässigte Hotelanlage mit viel Potential

Die Lage des Hotels ist gut, denn man ist ein wenig entfernt vom Zentrum und hat diesbzgl. Ruhe. Darüberhinaus ist man sehr schnell beim Bus wie auch beim Eichhörnchen Weg.

Die Möbel sind bereits seit Jahren amortisiert und hätten schon längst ausgetauscht werden müssen. Als wir auf den zwei Sofastühlen Farbstiftspuren bemerkten, erwähnten wir am Empfang dies, jedoch wurden die Stoffe weder ausgetauscht noch versucht diese zu reinigen, man hat uns lediglich erwähnt, dass der vorherige Gast Kinder hatte, die dies beschmutzen…wir sehen bis heute keinen Lösungsansatz in diesem Satz. Zudem war das grosse Bettsofa nicht sehr „anmächelig“, somit war der Wohnfokus auf die Hälfte des Zimmer geschrumpft, da wir diesen Teil des Zimmers nicht in Anspruch nahmen. Der andere Teil des Zimmers war leider auch kein Highlight - das Bett hatte auch schon bessere Zeiten erlebt (unschön der „Gürtel“, der die zwei Betten zusammenband), sowie die Rückenkomode, die bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung (aufrecht sitzend im Bett) an die Wand hämmerte, da die Komode nicht mit dem Bett zusammengeschraubt war. Nicht dass wir den Fernseher aktiv nutzten, da Arosa wunderschön ist, jedoch waren keine vollen Batterien in der Fernbedienung, so dass wir wiederum am Empfang waren. Der Gastro-Service war im Vergleich dazu sehr gut, man konnte sich in der kleinen Stube gemütlich machen, so dass man nicht im Esssaal essen musste, da die Lautstärke dort extrem war auch mit wenigen Personen. Der Aufentshaltsraum mit dem Klawier und der kleinen Bar hat uns sehr gefallen.
