The staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent, all while offering beautiful mountain views all around.

The newer sections of the hotel are beautifully designed. The spa area is spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to unwind. All the amenities offer stunning views of the mountains, and the serene atmosphere makes it even more peaceful. A last remark, I’d like to make about the gym was amazing and had everything one would need.

Some areas of the hotel are older, though very well maintained. It is surprising that not everything has been updated compared to the newer sections.

simply amazing hotel, perfect location, great rooms, attentive staff, very convenient to get on the slope, straight from the ski room, I very rarely give 10/10 this is one of those times

pillows were awful and that’s about it, Wi-Fi was breaking connection at times but other than that everything was amazing

Exceptional

The hotel was very nice and we really enjoyed our time in Arosa. We took our dog with us and that's great that the hotel accept dogs in the rooms. In addition, everytime we had questions the hotel replied very quicky per e-mail which is very appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional and the spa areas are also great.

We booked only one night and as the check-in is quite late (4pm), with a dog, we need the room before going to the spa or do some activities. Therefore, we could only enjoy the spa facilities on the evening (The outdoor pool and sauna are closed the mornings until 1pm). The sauna areas are mixed and without clothes. For some it might be normal but not everybody can feel comfortable to go to the sauna.

The shuttle hotel service non applicable after 19.00 to the Arosa Center . The reception stuff not efficient ! Had to remind them on questions and reservations of restaurants .

High prices but not 4 star

Restaurant Kachelofa-Stübli was a delight, amazing food, fantastic service! Breakfast was nice as well, with a fantastic room. We also stayed on one of the renovated rooms which are well done.

- They booked the full 970 CHF for 2 nights from my credit card nearl 2 weeks in advance - 1st floor, right above the parking lot - Room has no minibar, not even a waterheater or cups. They cleaned the room but didnt pick anything up that was on the floor and left dirty napkins from room service the night before on the table - when we asked about the Spa at reception, a lady without any ability to smile looked at both of us and said it is only open for hotel guests.... - we couldnt get a table at any of the 3 restaurants the fiest night. When we asked about room service, the guy said no, not availability since all restaurants are fully booked, we have to go into town....

Just Perfect

The hotel is located next to the slope and lift. Very clean, high awareness about Covid measures. Super nice and extraordinary helpful staff (all). Very good breakfast and tasty food for dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The atmosphere is welcome, cosy and chic. Very like it, well deserved exceptional rate.

Great location, great hotel

Quiet location, friendly stuff, all you need is there (during summer the cable cars were free of charge for hotel clients). Very good breakfast! Spacious room with a clean and warm interior.

The food offer and quality of the dinner seemed somehow limited during summer.

Good location but some nuances

1) The hotel is located right on the slope within proximity of the most convenient lift to Arosa 2) The rooms are modern and very clean, bathroom is large with two sinks a and a walk-in shower 3) The restaurant is quite good, breakfasts are very good 4) They have an adult-only spa zone sestate from the kids-friendly area. That was a deal maker for me 😃 On general the SPA was never too crowded so I was able to have a nice time.

1) The hotel isn’t very well equipped to accept English-speaking guests. We had quite a few misunderstandings with the staff due to langue, which I attribute to language difficulties (most visitors come from German-speaking parts of Switzerland). For instance, I was booked for a massage at 7:30 only to discover that the receptionist meant 6:30 (he said “Half past 7, meaning 6:30 🙈). So I couldn’t get my massage that day 2) You need to book all activities very well in advance (neither horse riding nor massages are available for the next 3-4 days if you don’t book then in advance) 3) The housekeeping service only operates until 9PM, so when I asked for a different pillow the reception desk informed me they couldn’t do anything about it. So I was left to sleep another night with a severe neck pain. 4) The electric kettle they brought to our room didn’t work. All in all you may think all these are small nuances, but when you pay 500 CHF per night, you expect a bit more of a service.

Tolle Unterkunft, aber…

Nicht alle Zimmer sind renoviert auf Booking nur die neuen Zimmer dokumentiert. Hab ein altes bekommen wurde in den 1900 achtziger Jahren zurückversetzt, schade Zimmer war aber sehr sauber.

Sehr nett, aber für den Preis fehlt noch ein Stück.

Lage, Atmo, Materialien. Essen und Longdrinks waren hervorragend. Anwendungen im Spa waren wunderbar.

Spabereich viel zu klein und verwinkelt für die vielen Menschen. Keine Aufforderungsschilder sich zu Duschen nach Sauna und vor Schwimmen. Wir sind wieder gegangen. Badezimmer alles transparentes Glas, man möchte dem anderen nicht beim Klogang zusehen. Beim Frühstück lagen gefrorene Avocados, Butter war aus. Personal sprach kein Deutsch. Unser Tisch wurde vergeben, aber niemand hat sich gekümmert.

Auszeit im November

Das Personal war super freundlich. Gegessen haben wir exelent. Alle waren sehr aufmerksahm und der Wellnessbereich das Tüpfchen auf dem I. Ich hatte eine wundervolle Massage und die Saunen/Dampfbäder und der Pool waren der Hammer. Wir hatten noch ein Upgrade bekommen und gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis eine Südzimmersuit mit Balkon. Einfach herrlich!!! Der Eichhörndliwege beginnt auch noch direckt vor der Tür...was will man noch mehr...Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder 🥰...vielen Dank für die wundervolle Zeit...💝

Vielen Dank liebes Waldhotel Arosa Team. Unser Aufenthalt von 2 Nächten mit Halbpension war traumhaft. Ich war schon in mehreren 5* Hotels mit Spa Angebot in der Schweiz und kann wirklich bestätigen, dass euer Angebot sehr gut damit mithallten kann. Sehr schön und stilvoll eingerichtet, sauber, Familienfreundlich. Ab besten hat mir der Aussenbereich gefallen. Sehr gutes Gymangebot und traumhafte Aussicht. Sehr freundliches Personal und Kinderorientiertes angebot.

Ich mag es sehr am Morgen früh den Spa Berich zu besuchen, ab besten - noch vor dem Frühstück. Das war leider nicht möglich, lässt sich aber nachvorziehen. Dafür konnte ich den Bewegungsdrang im ausgezeichnet gestalteten Gym ausleben :-)

Wir hatten uns auf ein modernes Zimmer eingestellt (wie auf den Bildern auf der Homepage), dies war leider nicht der Fall, daher war es ein wenig enttäuschend.
