Rowantree Cottage

The house was lovely. The hot tub is nestled in the woods and very private. Had plenty of space and we were provided with loads of information by the hosts. There are fantastic amenities within walking distance and the location is incredibly beautiful. It’s a wonderful quiet place to stay and have a restful weekend among the hills. The property also has a brilliant large garden and is very suitable for a dog as it has a room with a patio door that goes out directly into the garden. The kitchen was big and well equipped and the plastic cups supplied are of good quality and almost like glass so they’re hot-tub safe and not an eye-sore.

The hot tub didn’t warm up for the first night at all even though in the guidelines it was stated it should be ready by 9pm, so be mindful of how many nights you book for because if it’s only a weekend, you might not get more than a day’s use of it. Had some trouble working out the heating, but once discussed with the hosts, we were advised to use the boost button and space heaters. The kitchen could benefit from a proper chopping board as all we could find were some very tiny plastic ones.

Excellent location. We had a car and could get to lots of places very easily. Hot tub was great, so beautifully placed with a view of the loch.

Super maison pour un groupe. Confortable et cosy. Jacuzzi super. Propriétaire au petit soin pour qu’il se passe au mieux. Vue magnifique sur le lac.

Cuisine manque un peu d’équipement pour cuisiner.

The location was perfect. Pub right down the road, chippy a short walk away, a shop nearby and a bus stop right outside as well. Easily fit 10 of us plus a wee wean.

Could use a tiny bit of TLC, but really was lovely.
