The place was lovely the people were friendly, the blonde lady on reception was very accommodating and so well mannered. Place was so well organised, could not fault anything.

The glamping pods are very good value, with reasonably comfortable beds. The heater worked well. The site has a great view over the loch. The people in the office are great and checking in out of hours was straightforward.
I don't see the point of having a microwave and kettle in the pod, because it doesn't have a taps or a sink. The shower room and toilet is too basic. There should be hooks in the cubicles, and a small bench would be a good idea. The shower cubicles also have no soap dishes, so my soap got soggy because I couldn't keep it out of the spray. I understand that people probably take stuff out of the kitchen, but there were only 2 forks in the drawer.

Nothing was open,(was jan) smoke alarm kept going off due to being above cooker.instead of a microwave maybe a wee mini oven/grill so u can cook pizza or chips.

We had a great stay, the Lodge was very warm despite the outside temperature.
It was peaceful and s great location to explore from.
Its a very small thing, but the cutlery was completely odd. Its a personal thing and probably won't bother many people, but I like to eat with cutlery that matches and weighs the same.

The view was amazing. It was nice and warm for the time of year. The hot tub was great.
A little mould around the windows which is understandable. Needed a little more storage for putting shopping away.

We have stayed at loch Tay highland lodges quite a few times now and it’s a lovely place, we have stayed in the camping pods and the glamping pods, the views and just the tranquility of the place is amazing, also I’m a keen fisherman, and whilst staying on there you have the opportunity to fish the loch, never caught on 3 occasions but only playing about really, and it’s fishing not catching 😊 . On a whole the place is beautiful and the staff are really nice, there is everything there you need for your trip, and having Killin next door is beautiful also to visit.
On this occasion now no fault at all to the property we went mid storm, wasn’t able to do much when we got there due to very high winds and rain n snow, there was no reception for the tv and absolutely zero reception for WiFi, but if your in the highlands in a storm we had to kinda expect that. In the morning we woke up to very very hot cabin which was coming from the roof, we actually never thought much about this just thinking it was heating and turned the main heating system down, this was about 5 o’clock in the morning I was making coffee and everything just went off electricity heating everything, was in quite a panic to be honest thinking something was seriously wrong, luckily I had some fishing lights in the car to keep us seeing what we was doing, I phoned the onsite warden who came as soon as they could and got things sorted for around 6 o’clock ish, telling us it was a old heating system that had not been turned off that had tripped the switch for the cabin, but was brilliant and sorted it out for us and everything was okay from there. I will very rear complain about cleanliness whilst camping or glamping with being outdoors however on this 1 occasion my partner had to clean the fridge before putting food in there was food and drinks stains in the fridge, also the tops around the work top and sink was stained and had to be cleaned down, the bed in the cabin was on quite a slant and I actually thought I could roll out of it at any moment but I never It held me, now that my seem abit of a rant but I have stayed there a lot of times and it is absolutely beautiful and wouldn’t want to put anyone off for this 1 time experience. I just upset that it had to happen when we decided to go a wee bit upgraded on usual and went for a supreme glamping pod to be slightly disappointed on cleanliness.

Restaurant on site was lovely, staff were very attentive and kind. Was a good location for a good remote stay away from home!
The bed was also very comfortable! And the cabin was a good size.
The facilities in the kitchen were good (microwave, kettle, toaster, small hob)
As we paid extra for having a hot tub it would have been nice if it was offered to be heated up prior to arrival. Check in wasn’t until 4pm so by that point it was too late to start warming up the hottub as we found this to take 4-5 hours from starting the fire as it was late January! Even would be okay for a small surcharge but just as you pay extra for this facility but can only use it once really.
Additionally the shower door on our en-suite continued to fall off of its rollers when using it.

The accommodation was excellent very clean and all utensils were there, definitely like a home from home and the log burner was amazing addition. The scenery and price were amazing, highly recommend loch tay
Cannot fault the wooden cabin

Amazing views. Facilities in the glamping pod were the perfect set up.
All staff were totally on top of everything; as I arrived during snowfall, could have been a stressful situation but they were a well oiled machine, already having gritting and plowing the paths for guests. So organised, really friendly, welcoming and approachable - went above and beyond helping me when i stupidly got my car stuck in snow/grass bank on way to my pod.
So peaceful, didn’t hear with surrounding guests; just the sound of nature - great to switch off and break away from technology (although there is a tv with channels to help for the rainy nights if nothing else :) )
Nothing i didn’t like about the property. I will plan to go back (maybe in warmer season to check out loch activities).
1 thing i missed out on -it could totally have been my error but thought i’d visited The Boathouse restaurant during opening hours and it appeared shut - just wanted to check it out really, while exploring the location, i have no doubts the staff would have updated me if i questioned it further but was completely content with experience.

Great location and a warm cabin with a woodburner , comfortable sofas, and bed .
Staff were welcoming on arrival.
Well run site .
Heating was on for arrival, which was a good touch .
Some of the kitchen utensils need replacing in particular oven trays, and the crockery is a mismatch .
At the price you are paying, I would expect this to be of a higher standard .

The location of this park is really beautiful.
The fridge broke down and ruined our food, for which we were issued 0 apologies. They generally were really hard to communicate with over email in three separate insrances. In one of them, they might have miscommunicated between them and asked us to pay 30£ extra after the fact, for a request we submitted upon booking and were told we would be accommodated for free. To stay in the camping pod no less, which is an extremely basic and slightly dirty space at the best of times. We have no reason with that, it's an upgrade compared to a tent. But its clear that the owner of the park is aggressively trying to make profit everything they could possibly do so, and it's all realy offputting.

Location was great. Camping pod was a good size.
Damp and tired. I had to wash everything when we got home as it all smelled musty. You could see that the pod had seen better days. The flooring was lifting from water damage. The sofa was old and uncomfortable. The mattress also needed to be replaced as it sloped on one side.

Lovely site close to the lake. Waterfalls down the road. Shame the restaurant wasn’t open during the day camping kitchen good although we didn’t use it. Other users had used it left the sink full of pots and were playing games in the lounge. Would be better if they cleaned up straight away so others could use it. But that’s not the camp sites fault
The only thing I could say is the way the bed set up is you need a flat sheet. A fitted didn’t fit and I found we had no sheet half the night.

Hot tub. Maybe more instructions so that it would be hotter for longer. Still good whilst it was working

The location & views were absolutely incredible just breath taking overall very good value for money & we would stay again.
The couch was filthy, probably due to it being pet friendly & usually used as a dog bed but literally covered in stains we didn’t sit on it. The toilet had not been cleaned properly. The bed was not exactly comfy & the 4 bags of logs provided were not enough to heat the hot tub we had to buy more.

Location was ideal base for climbing Ben Lawers. Whole site looked well maintained. Hot tub was a real boost and well used. Accommodation was generally good quality and served it's purpose. Restaurant on site was excellent and saved either cooking for ourselves or having to drive to get a meal. Reception staff very pleasant.
One bedroom cabin with hot tub overpriced. Paying for wi-fi in this day and age is poor. Also would not expect to have to strip the bed. Bed settee requires some maintenance.
Glamping ensuite pod beds were very small for two adults to share. The shower in one pod was only luke warm at best.

Great view and lovely space
Not enough facilities for campers in lodges with no amenities says online that campers kitchen has lots but there where not a lot of things at all there where 2 tea spoons no frying pans only a few pots

The site is the classic phrase ....location, location, location.
If you are staying in a pod, before you book call the site and check what pod they'll allocate. This makes a massive difference ..... as we drove over 400 miles and all we saw was a large hedge from the pod ! If you're not interested in sitting outside with the amazing views on offer, then this information won't affect you.
Other than the pod area, the rest of the site is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

No Mop or Iron on the premises
6.0 / 10.0
We stayed in the cheapest option, so was good value, but on reflection, really quite basic. Close to viewpoint and Ben Lawers and a good base to explore the area.
Very basic and felt it needed updating, no crockery or cutlery inside the hut, bedding was warm but quite worn. Could have had hooks in the hut and more hooks in the showers for towels and clothes.
