The hot tub and open plan. Modern kitchen. Close to nature.
Not very cosy. It was geared up for dogs with no carpet. Nothing to entertain children, whereas my family in a non pet lodge had lots of games for children and books for adults. Plus carpet in living room.

The cabin exceeded our expectations by miles. It is so nice to arrive somewhere with the simple amenities - bin bags, dishwasher tablets, salt and pepper (and a spice rack!). Rooms were spacious and well thought out, heating was cosy, it was very pet and child safe with closed and lockable decking. Everything worked and the site managers were very helpful and kind.
