We stayed in Lodge 7, one of the deluxe cabins, and it was absolutely perfect. I visited with a long-time friend I don’t get to see very often, and this weekend away was everything we hoped for. - The lodge itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and wonderfully cozy. - The setting is stunning, with breathtaking scenery all around. - The location is ideal — we enjoyed a day trip to Callander with ease. - The hot tub was a real highlight, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. It was the perfect mix of comfort, relaxation, and convenience. We’re already planning another stay next year, and I can’t recommend Balquhidder Braes highly enough for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a beautiful part of Scotland.

Idyllic location. Cabin had a rustic, natural feel to it. Hot tub was amazing. Stayed in many cabins in other locations and they always seem to be missing something. Cannot say that about this cabin.

Didn't see any members of staff which made it feel a tad impersonal. Would have preferred a more formal check on / check out but not a big deal.

Beautiful setting and immaculate accomodation. Hot tub great!

Absolutely stunning property, just off the main road, but far enough not to be able to hear it. Furnished and decorated to very high spec, didn't want for anything at all. Hot tub was crystal clear and clean, beds comfy, shower great, all facilities were excellent. Perfect location to explore The Trossachs, really liked the nearby town of Callander and also visited Perth, very nice and clean. We all enjoyed our stay, not cheap, but you get what you pay for and is still great value for money. Thankyou.

The only small thing (and it maybe a personal thing) was being told we would be "fined" part of our £100 security payment, for every 15 mins we were late leaving on the last day......and then reminded again about it. We understand you have cleaners arriving, but it was September and the park was almost empty, so we were sure nobody was arriving straight after us. We had a long drive back to Somerset and were always going to leave early, which we did, we could've just done with the almost threatening type of emails. Try wording it different or just asking people to kindly leave no later than 10am.

Beautiful setting with luxury lodge to spend with family.

Beautiful setting. Easy to get to. Great EV charging although could do with a light over the area. In the dark could not see where the charger was. Very well equipped kitchen but could do with few more mugs. There were plenty of plates.

Not enough parking next to lodge. Cobwebs in ceiling hanging over dining area. Dusty lampshades in lounge area. No shampoo or shower gel provided even though advertised as toiletries provided.

Fantastic cabin, big and comfy

The cabin was lovely. Had everything you would need or want. Hot tub was huge and sunken into patio area which was great. Very private. Had all kitchen utensils etc you would need lovely dining table. Beds were comfy and shower was fantastic

Didn't want dogs to urinate or poo on decking so obviously had to take them onto the grounds. Area surrounding cabin was lovely but with 3 dogs it was difficult to let them off with other cabins nearby. Did see a couple of gated small fields on the grounds which would've been great to use and let dogs off to run around. But wasn't a big deal as id definitely come back

Excellent rural location very scenic near to lovely town of Callander.

Nice big cabin with a really comfortable bed, hot tub was big & worked well. Excellent walking areas for the dog.

Slight mishap when we arrived the bedroom door was jammed closed due to the lock. This was fixed promptly by Richard & the joinery so didn’t affect our stay. Road noise was loud due to being beside a busy road but this was only when outside couldn’t hear when indoors.

Beautiful location and great hot tubs

Lovely place to stay whilst exploring the area. The hot tub was fantastic and we spent a lot of time in there! We stayed in lodge 15 and it was perfect for 3 of us. It had everything we needed for a short stay. The golden larches cafe over the road is definitely worth a visit.

It is near to a busy road but it's quiet over night.

Fabulous chalets with hot tub.

Chalet was beautiful, clean, and very well-equipped . Hot tub is a real bonus. Lots to do around the area and good walks from the chalet.

What would put us off again is the £10 a night charge for our small dog. I do understand a charge per stay of £10 or £20, as there sometimes is extra cleaning at the end of stay. But per night is just crazy and makes a good deal not worth it when adding this charge.

Perfect location for a quiet weekend break.

We really had a great weekend! When I arrived a member of staff was driving by and popped in to make sure the heating was all in working order and it just made it more welcoming! The whole lodge was spotless and hot tub was ready to be used. I really couldn’t fault anything.

Great trip in beautiful location, would stay again

Hot tub was fantastic and there was plenty of plates, cups and oven trays. Fridge was large and I appreciated having a dishwasher.

A couple more toilet rolls would be great, it was also quite difficult to dry clothes as the airer in the kitchen made the floor soaking wet. I’d also have appreciated a bottle of cheap cooking oil as its often forgotten and perhaps a citronella candle for all the midgies - this would have pushed my review to full marks.

From the moment we walked in the front door we were greeted by an amazing property, spotlessly clean and welcoming. The cabin had everything you could possibly need especially the in the kitchen.The hot tub was used every day and the children loved it as did we. The views are amazing first thing in the morning it was so peaceful. The little touches like the dog blanket and towels are really nice , we would highly recommend this cabin to friends and family. We will definitely be returning.
