We absolutely loved our stay at Finnich Cottages and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming and beautifully thought through.
Marcin was an amazing host – so friendly, helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble, and his care and pride in the place really shows.
The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully presented and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we could possibly need and more, making it feel like a true home away from home. Every detail felt considered, from the cosy interiors to the peaceful surroundings.
The Scandinavian hot tubs were a real highlight – such a special experience, especially after a day exploring. Relaxing in the warm water surrounded by nature was pure bliss.
Overall, it was a truly memorable stay. Peaceful, luxurious and incredibly comfortable – we left feeling relaxed and already planning our return.

We had a fantastic stay at Finnich Cottages. The setting is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, scenic, and perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area while still feeling wonderfully secluded.
The cottage itself was spotless, very well equipped, and extremely comfortable. Everything felt thoughtfully laid out, from the cosy living areas to the quality furnishings and well-stocked kitchen. It truly felt like a home away from home.
The hosts were excellent — friendly, welcoming, and very responsive, with clear instructions and great local recommendations. It’s clear they take real pride in the property and in making guests feel welcome.
Overall, Finnich Cottages exceeded our expectations and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others looking for a relaxing break in Scotland.
Highly recommended.

I was so happy when I arrived to find such a beautiful little cottage. The pictures on the site are 100% accurate, but the warmth and comfort that you don't get to see in pictures, is even better. It had everything you could need and if you decided to just stay indoors the whole time, you would be happy. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need, everything properly sized as well, no hotel/travel sizes. I got 3 days worth of food, snacks, wine, and stuff for my dog, all put away with plenty of space. Easy to use everything, cooking was a breeze and if you hate washing up, there's a dishwasher for you!! All the little things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs, dishcloths and sponges, extra bin liners, tea towels, salt, little bottle of olive oil, tea bags, sugar, coffee and pods for the coffee maker.....all provided. It really is thoughtfully kitted out. The shower was amazing, really powerful and just what you needed after a day out walking and sightseeing. Such a comfy bed, great nights sleep every night as well. I was lucky enough to have an enclosed garden, perfect for my little dog, and I can imagine if you visit in the summer you'd definitely spend some time chilling out there.
It is such a peaceful location, the cottages are set amongst 220 acres of private ground, so you really do get to be as isolated as you'd like. However, if you want to go sightseeing, then this is a great location as well. Everything is really just a short drive out of the grounds, so it was perfect to pick and choose how you wanted to spend your day.
The staff are really quick at answering messages or query's and you are totally set up and ready to go from the minute that you arrive. There is a great information pack for guests which included instructions for a great walk of the grounds to a beautiful viewpoint on a hill. We did this walk and it was absolutely stunning, there are other routes too of course and it is beautiful whatever you choose.
Nothing, everything was brilliant!! Except that my stay was too sort at only a few days....wish it had been longer. I will know better next time I book :-)
I honestly cannot recommend this place enough!!!

We liked the space, the hot tub and the facilities. It was really clean and a very comfortable stay. Good, quiet location with lovely views.
Nothing we didn’t like.

The location and facilities were great and the property spotless and clean. The fact our dog was allowed to stay was a big plus with a trail to walk nearby. We all had a great time and will be back.
Nothing but if taking the dog out for a toilet break before bed in the dark, I’d suggest bringing a torch. Also note that the Rowan property doesn’t have access to a hot tub.

Probably one of the best cottages I've ever stayed in. Spotless and well equipped, quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature, hot tub was amazing. Cannot fault anything

Quite great scenery and all the kitchen equipment you wanted. Martyn very helpful troubleshooting with TV and lamps which were minor issue. Good taxi service and local pub recommendations very good.
The hot tub was essentially scalding hot bath no jets and turns out to use it just once cost us an extra £79!

A clean, bright, modern, thoughtfully designed space in a quiet location - ideal for a relaxing getaway. The hosts were readily available and responded promptly to any questions we had, making the experience smooth and welcoming.
The signposting to the cottage could have been clearer, which made locating it slightly challenging.
Before check-in, I required medical attention, and the host/manager acknowledged that the handbook may need to be updated to better support guests in similar situations.

Like home from home the cottage had everything you need for a self catering holiday plus more ,very well equipped , very clean and well kept .
The area with the hot tubs in the patio was a bit too open no privacy

There was everything to like about this property, spotlessly clean with all the utensils you need. It is very quiet but that is perfect if you just want to get away. But it is close enough to do day trips to some wonderful areas.
It really had the best of both worlds. We loved the hot tub and I do not think they are expensive. On arrival the guest fire was already on heating up the pool. Everyday fresh wood was delivered not many pools with such a wonderful.
A special thanks to Martin who before during and after was easy to deal with.
If you want sometime away from the bustling life of the city this is for you. Highly recommended.

It’s a lovely place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was very hot during our stay so access to a fan would be helpful and blackout curtains over the window areas would have been great.
Wasn’t exactly sure of the hot tub options and if you could preheat them yourself.

I think most people would say the mesmerising view, it is really sublime. However, that is not to to denigrate the cottage in anyway. It was a joy to fall into that lovely bed after a long, wandering journey from the North Coast; particularly as the cottage was so clean, fresh, comfortable and well equipped. We were only there for 2 nights, as a break on our journey home. Shame, that view deserves more time that we could give it. Morning coffee looking at the fields and mountains and being amused by the antics of the sheep will live long in the memory. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again.
Having given this question some thought; I am going to say in all honesty and with the benefit of hindsight - there is nothing to say!

The location was great. Easy to find and very peaceful
Unfortunately the children's play area was damaged during the terrible storms we had would be nice to see the owners put one back in place for kids to enjoy

Hot tubs are not good value or good quality

The cottage had lovely little extras, like a coffee machine and extra virgin oil for cooking. The games room was fun for all the family and we borrowed Scrabble for a slightly wet afternoon. Lots of amazing memories made in a comfortable and homely cottage with all the modern conveniences, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Martin was very helpful and friendly.
I did miss having the electric hot tub I've grown used to in other lodges, as they would stay at the perfect temperature most of the time. However, the wood fire hot tubs where still very relaxing and enjoyed by us all.

Very well located, clean and complete cottage (ranging from modern kitchen utensils to the huge interactive flatscreen tvs in every room). The common area with a table tennis, table football and pool table was another plus. Oh and the hot tubs are amazing! Takes a bit of time to heat them up but then they are just fantastic.
There wasn't a thing we didn't like. Just a note that the washing machine and dryer are placed in a common area, to be shared by the cottages. It worked very well for us and we have no complaints whatsoever, but it was not immediately clear from the description.

Uncomfortable and tired sofa. Poor position near TV. Door handle too near the frame, caught hand in it. Grass not mowed in back garden, weeds in the front.

Beautiful place with loads of space for a family of five. We could’ve stayed for a week! The cottage had everything we needed incl. a fully fitted kitchen. Amazing surroundings.
Close to Loch Lomond, Ben A’an and Devils Pulpit.
Nothing, everything was perfect and Martin quickly helped us with a few things we needed.
Only negative was that we think the spa was quite expensive to rent.

This is our second visit to Finnich Cottages, Martin very friendly and helpful. Love the location, peaceful and tranquil.
We preferred location on our first visit, sit outside and enjoy countryside. Second visit shows cottages have fences round to give privacy for the hot tubs now installled. Great for those who enjoy these amenities.

The estate itself is beautiful, set in the countryside. The cottage is beautifully set out and has everything you need. we had the middle cottage which had two bedrooms. one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. it has a bathroom, with shower and bath and has a downstairs toilet. The cottages all have access to the courtyard to the front and has back doors in which have two hot tubes, sharing two people in each. the courtyard has a games room, great for children and adults who like to play games. they have plenty of parking and dog friendly. Martin who looks after the estate was very attentive and friendly.
I loved everything about this place. just wish they would mention when you book that there is an extra fee for lighting the hot tubs which is no big deal and no expensive. (£49) and £12 for the dog again no big deal.

We enjoyed the extra bits and pieces and the welcome package for our pets.
The olive oil bottle was a really nice touch that we ended up using to cook.
Everything was good. The only thing would be if an individual every day pricing for the hot tub would exist as we ended up using it only once.
