Stunning cabin and so is the location! And a wee shop/cafe to boot

Lovely place

Great location, the lodge is fantastic. Really well laid out and everything to hand

The hot tub is at the back of the property and not in a secure area. We have dogs and could not both go in the tub at the same time as it’s not fenced or a secure area. If you had children it leads into a main road, albeit quiet. It could with being fenced off, so the children or dogs can be in a secure area.

Extremely cozy. A very well-equipped kitchen. Quiet and very peaceful location. We felt as if we were staying in someone’s home for a few days.

Even though all the faults my boy still enjoyed his birthday.

Children’s bedroom was damp and no heating in the bedroom. Wi fi was not working did inform staff member but didn’t show up . No instructions to work heating system. Hot tub took ages to reach proper temperature over the two days stay.

Amazing location. The cabin was superb. Enough space for all the family and the dogs! The hot tub was a great addition. Easy as simple to check in and out.

Exceptionally quiet, remote lodge holiday

Very quiet location. Variety of little birds visit. Short walks from the door. Dog friendly. Community bar and coffee shop both with friendly welcoming staff.

Location is extremely quiet, too quiet for us: a 40-minute drive minimum to get anywhere. Loch Aweside Forest Cabin is accurate, but it misled me as the lodge is not on the side of the Loch I.e. it does not have a view of the Loch. Loch Awe Forest Cabin in Dalavich, is more accurate.

Wee booked it for 4xnights but only stayed 1x night

The cabin was a mess their was blood in the toilet their was two inches dust below the beds muck all over the sitting floor the bathrooms were dirty you could not get your car down the drive way for trees their was a old rusty boat off the drive way the roads in the estate were full of pot holes the restaurant was take away the bar you only fit about 4 peole in to it the shop looked like some one had got about 12x sheets plywood nailed them to together and put roof on in when we complained the next day to company down south that rented us the cabin the man on the phone was cheecky made no effort to sort the problem he laughed at us when we asked for our money back we paid 960 stirling pounds for this cabin

The location was excellent everything you could need in the cabin the little cafe/shop was really nice had breakfast there a couple of times ,the walks around the cabin are lovely ,

The shower in the double bedroom was not clean ,grouting really needs attention ,but there is a shower in the twin room which I used it was a pity cause everything else was fine

The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There was a folder with instructions for how to use things like the log burner which was very helpful.

Lovely relaxing break

This place is the perfect escape. The cabin was spacious and very well equipped. There were books and games which came in handy during the rain. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. The teacakes were a lovely touch to come into and were lovely with a coffee. The hot tub was great and the fact it was raining just made it even better. We will definitely be back.

Amzing log cabin

Absolutely loved the log cabin , my husband and I took my sister as she was in dire need of a break , We all had an amazing time over the 6 days , I had just retired and it was so good to have a break , Room with double bed is a bit of a tight squeeze , came home with a few bruises from the latch on the bedroom door , Log fire was AMAZING , been to Dalavich 4 times now and still love it , Only down side was the size of the fridge , it was tiny as was the freezer , there was only 3 of us and there wasn’t enough room in the fridge for most of the things we brought , This cabin sleeps 5 , so I can’t imagine where they all store their refrigerated food , All in all , it was an amazing log cabin , we loved our stay and would definitely recommend it

Location, cabin was good. Hot tube was great and ready to go.

Shower had cello tape holding it up and was not powerful. They could have told us about road closure pass ford. Restaurant was closed and shop was in middle of being sold.

Only one chair to use at “fold up”table…had to bend down to coffee table to eat meals…..two technophobes…could have done with TV, DVD etc instructions

Pleasant

Nice place to relax and be by youself

The road to Dalavich. We know this is one of the reasons it is nice and quiet :-) The forest and the Loch is nice, but we only “discovered” the nearby area, as we only took the road in and out one time. We had a good time, but nevet got to the dam and castle on the north of the Loch due to the road.

It was perfect, Well set out for a big family.Hot tub was fantastic With beautiful views, excellent on rainy days and long evenings.

Maybe the loft area could be secured, my two boys loved the sofa bed though, so we didn’t really use upstairs (one of my boys sleepwalks!!)
