Lovely Christmas break.

The location was just beautiful, the view from our apartment was lovely. The apartment was a nice size, very clean. Just what was needed couldn't of asked for a better place. Everyone was very friendly.

The apartment we stayed in was very dated. It was tired so probably at is prime 20 years ago and there were various defects, not massive but i wouldn't describe it as luxury. We were a bit deceived by the photos as not all apartments have been updated. Parking was tight and beds were small!

Relaxing family staycation.

The most idyllic setting stunning views and great for wildlife spotting. Can fish off the pier so good for anglers.

There are no shops close to the property nearest is Oban centre which is half an hour away so make so either take everything you need with you or get Tesco delivery.

A real treat

It’s a wonderful location. The house was big enough for six people and has a log burner and a little sauna which was lovely. Would definitely return.

We brought our boat as there is a slip way however it was covered in seaweed and algae and too slippy to use. The staff did however tell us we could ask at Melfort launch haven. Thankfully we did that and launched our boat for a small fee which was terrific

Could be better

Good location

No instructions on how to use anything, needs some tlc, found wrappers in drawers and under sofa and clothes left by previous occupants so not cleaned thoroughly. When went to reception to hand over the clothes the lady there was abrupt not friendly at all. Only saving grace was the guy on an evening new starter who went out of his way to check on us with storm it was only then we got any logs for the fire as found out on arrival they were £10 per bag none were given previously to start us off and property was cold. The doors to balcony were not safe and bed upstairs creaked. Light in kitchen flickered and bulbs were out or missing and drawer handle came away in hand. Didn’t bring this to their attention as already tried to be nice and take items back but didn’t bother as grey haired lady was so rude.

Stunning views but lack of water and showers was disappointing

Stunning views and area.

No water on second day and morning of check out so could not have a shower. We were supplied with water to brush our teeth. It could not have been helped but we should have neen offered a partial refund since there was no water on second and into third morning of our stay.

Lovely place

The location was beautiful and quiet. Lots of space and even some firewood for the cold evenings. We loved the bath tub and Sauna.

The shower downstairs didn't have proper hot water as it was a disabled shower. The bed was super comfortable downstairs however upstairs on one of the bedrooms the bed was not comfortable and my sister hit a really sore back after two nights.

Great staff, amazing views, house needs improvements

Amazing location, right on the lake, isolated and about 30 minutes from everything. Staff was great and accommodated everything we asked or needed, even without asking.

Beds and couches are uncomfortable, old bedsheets and towels. Kitchen was lacking of items, although they provided a new pan as soon as we asked. Internet was not working the entire stay, they provide a shared service from the other houses where they actually have the routers. Our house was connected to the neighbors because it is one house separated by an internal door, so we could hear everything like being in the same house together. Also there were people in the apartment upstairs so we could hear everything from them too. Not as peaceful or sound proof. We saw the other two houses and they were much better and have everything working and comfy couches being cheaper that what we paid for our. Hot water not always available either. I would recommend to book the other style of homes rather than our (Anchorage suite). They should also provide better instructions and directions being self check in. The neighbors triggered the fire alarm that went off in our side of the house too, and the smell of smoke because there is no fire proff door dividing the two apartments/ sides of the the same home.

Outside maintance and Inside upgrades needed

The views which are AMAZING The Privacy. Also Grateful for the upgrade as I had pre booked the wrong cabin. But as a previous customer the Staff noticed and I was booked into the accessiable Unit with Amazing views 😀

We were disappointed at the cleanliness. Dirty dishes in cupboard and sticky floors. Also the grounds are very overgrown and in need of maintance . We noticed the difference from last year ! The Television / Internet service e was poor But we believe this is in hand for next week upgrade . This is an amazing location with amazing views . It's such a shame to see it decline in our opinion . An upgrade of the rooms decor furniture beds and bedding etc and the outside maintenance done would see this Beautiful place survive . ! Sorry for our disappointing review. We just did not feel comfortable .

Excellent spot to enjoy the area

Fantastic location, with the patio of our apartment built out onto the water. Very quiet, beautiful and calm. Excellent starting point for a family hike. Immaculately clean.

The kitchen could do with being checked for missing items, cutlery etc. The hob fuse kept blowing so it was difficult to cook. The jacuzzi baths and towel rails did not work.

Property was lovely inside, great views

Walls and floors were very thin, was woken up in the morning by someone in the next appointment sneezing and was very aware of the people above moving around .
