About this cottage rental
Situated in Inveraray, just yards from the shores of Loch Fyne, Avenue Cottage is a spacious detached home ideal for family gatherings, special celebrations, or a romantic escape. Set towards the end of "The Avenue", the cottage enjoys spectacular elevated views across the loch and has recently been tastefully refurbished to create a cosy and comfortable retreat.
The living room features large picture windows and patio doors that frame the views perfectly and open out on warm summer days, bringing the outside in.
Downstairs you'll find a large open-plan kitchen and dining area, along with a cosy snug with sofa and second TV. This floor also includes two spacious double bedrooms, the main bathroom with shower, a separate WC, and a practical boot room at the entrance.
Upstairs are two further bedrooms — a double and a very spacious kingsize master — along with a dressing room off the master which can also be used as a children's room. Two single sofa beds provide space for guests nine and ten and can be moved between rooms if needed.
The cottage sits on the edge of the village, just a 10-15 minute walk from local pubs and restaurants, including the popular The George Hotel Inveraray and its lively Garden Bar, known for hosting live music during the summer months. Inveraray Pier is also around a 15-minute walk away and hosts the monthly Inveraray Farmers' Market (usually held on the third Saturday of the month).
Pets are welcome (normally up to two, please enquire if bringing more) and are charged at £10 per dog per week. We kindly ask that dogs remain downstairs and off soft furnishings, or that suitable throws are used.
Private driveway parking is available for multiple vehicles.
