With space for up to 10 guests, this grand 5-bedroom property is perfect for family gatherings, friends' getaways, or peaceful retreats.
From the moment you step into the spacious living room—with its soaring ceilings, oak floors, crackling wood-burning stove, and magnificent bay window overlooking the loch—you’ll understand why guests are consistently wowed by this special place.
About the House:
Lochside House occupies the right-hand quarter of a beautiful stone building dating back to 1900. The property combines period elegance with modern comforts, creating a warm and welcoming environment where you can truly unwind.
Ground Floor:
- Living Room: High ceilings, oak flooring, a brand-new wood-burning stove, and a bay window with sweeping views down Loch Katrine. A perfect spot to gather after a day of exploring.
- Dining Room: Large and sociable, with oak floors and space for everyone to dine together.
- Kitchen: Fully refurbished and equipped to a high standard, featuring an electric range oven with a 5-ring hob, two fridge/freezers, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need for cooking and entertaining with ease.
First Floor:
- Bedrooms:
- 2 x double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms; one with stunning loch views.
- 3 x twin bedrooms, all with views over the loch.
- Main Bathroom: Recently refurbished with a spacious walk-in rain shower and stylish tiling.
The Setting:
This is a home for people who love the outdoors and seek peace and beauty. Step outside and you’re immediately immersed in the natural splendour of the Highlands—ideal for walking, running, wildlife watching, or simply sitting by the loch and soaking in the silence.
The property doesn’t have its own lawn (please note that the garden in the photos belongs to the neighbouring quarter), but it does have a charming courtyard with outdoor furniture—perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks as you gaze over the water.

Beautiful location - group of 6 of us and plenty of room. Close walk to the pier cafe. Great day biking around loch Katrina and great walks on some trails. We were there for 3 days but would have liked to stay longer !

The house was at a great location and well organised.We had a fabulous time. A few things that can be changed for it to be very nice and modern but not that important- Overall fab place for a get together with family or friends. And the location is on a lake with all mountains and beautiful walks too

Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. A tesco home delivery was easy to organise and recieve at the property.Hosts were great - checking on us with the weather and being helpful and friendly.Would recommend!

Amazing house: comfy beds, gorgeous views, massive lounge, well-equpped kitchen, easy check in ... can't fault it. (Its remote location is a plus, in my view, but be prepared for a 30 min bumpy drive from Aberfoyle).
